If I've visited your page but haven't left a note, it's not personal. I rarely initiate contact on BP because I've heard how many idiotic, disrespectful notes ladies get slammed with from knuckleheads on here. And, when I have initiated notes, 9 times out of 10, I get lumped into the same category with those lames. Trust, I undersatnd and I'm not mad, but I will say that i'm tired of being penalized for some other dude's inadequacies, lies, and/or shortcomings... ***URGENT MESSAGE!!!***
MY PEOPLE!!! I beg of all you who are parents to find a way, BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY, to get your children OUT OF THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEMS!!! I know private schools are expensive as a m@therfukka, but the government schools are no longer teaching our kids ANYTHING! Our teachers at public school teachers get no where near the amount of support they need to do there jobs properly. And, because of bureaucracy like the "No Child Left Behind" act, they're pretty much mandated to basically just teach the kids how to pass the federal government's standardized test (so the state can continue to get millions of dollars in federal funding) and, in the process, have ceased teaching to develope the actual skills of our children. Between that and things like social promotion (where they advance a kid to the next grade because of their age and DESPITE the fact that they may have failed every class) the system has failed. And, of course, the government schools in the black communities are always the worse of the worse. Please, for your child's sake, give him or her more of a fighting chance. I know it's easier said than done, but cut out as many luxuries as you can, beg, borrow and steal. But find a way to get them into a private school of YOUR CHOICE!!! If that's not possible financially, I understand. Then AT LEAST designate a minimum of one hour per night supplementing your child's education yourself... THAT'S FREE!!

No one plans to fail, they just fail to plan. ANYTHING is obtainable if you simply figure out each step required to get there, then take those steps. It ain`t that hard, so long as you don`t take shortcuts or get ahead of yourself by SKIPPING steps. It just takes patience. Ya gotta crawl before you can run. And it takes time.
I've learned a lot of people (men & women) seem to prefer a pretty box of candy even if it's filled with $hit, over a plain plastic bag that's filled with the sweetest chocolate on earth. (Marinate on that one...)
