Mr. and Ms. Flame I watch the fire burn and yearn to know your name. From a distance I see your beauty a heavenly gracious flame. Like a cloudy cold day in front of a fireplace, holding the one you love most. The aura of your grace! Fear of rejection holds me back from explaining myself to thee. Even scared of being noticed, I turn away when you look at me. Yet, I feel the warmth of your eyes on my face and almost shudder. A glance in your direction melts my poor heart into butter. Never ever felt this way before. Like a child in its mother's arms, like a little boy's puppy love, or like an entire family safe from a storm. This all takes place in seconds. In a little less than half a minute, I want to know your name Ms. Flame, but fear keeps me from asking it. Am I a silly guy, or maybe even a fool? I try to take a deep breath and maybe regain my cool. Once I get myself together and hold down my desire. I gain enough nerve to approach this lady of fire.
