I feel we as artist are the keys to
unlock the doors to the future. Art is a coded language. We should
not confuse industry and artistry. One must approach his or her art
forms with a loving, open heart. Your art is your off spring, your
child, and a life that should be valued. This is why I have so much
passion in my work. I am often asked why don't I perform as much or
why I don't write as much as I once did? I respond, I had to raise
my children. Though I have no physical children, I had to raise my
art forms. I don't write for an audience. I write and create, to
make us better. I write so that a homeless man can one day be
comforted by his heart and not the bottle in his hand. I write so
that "Brenda's Got A Baby" doesn't become the new "Negro National
Anthem." I write so that 12 year old homosexual boys and 12 year
old homosexual girls can realize that being gay is not the "In
Thing" to do. I write for my crack fiend mother and my alcoholic
father who were never there for themselves. I write so that your
children don't grow up like me. I write because I am a teacher
first, a fan second, and a profit never. as artist are the keys to
unlock the doors to the future. .

I am as chill as they come. I love to be social. i love to have fun and relax with good people. If you like my look and what you have read thus far, leave me a note, sign my guestbook, and let's converse a bit.*** Now Playing: Earth Wind and Fire - The Reasons
