personal messageHOWDY Y'ALL!!! Thanks for stopping by my page. I just come to the planet to past time and have a little fun. I'm not looking for a relationship. I'm CRAZY, GROWN AND SEXY AND COOL. ;) Pray First, Aim High & Stay Focused There was once a man who had nothing for his family to eat. He had an old shotgun and three bullets. So, he decided that he would go out and kill something to eat for dinner. As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit and he shot at the rabbit and missed it. Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel and missed it. As he went further, he saw a wild turkey in the tree and he had only one bullet, but a voice came to him and said "pray first, aim high and stay focused." However, at the same time, he saw a deer which was a better kill. He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer. But, then he saw a rattle snake between his legs about to bite him so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the rattle snake. Still, the voice said again to him, "I said 'pray first, aim high and stay focused."' So, the man decided to follow the voice. He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree and shot the wild turkey. The bullet bounced off the turkey and killed the deer. The handle fell off the gun and hit the snake in the head and killed it. And, when the gun had gone off, it knocked him into a pond of water. When he got up to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a dead deer and turkey to eat. The snake (e.g. Satan) was dead simply because the man listened to God: pray first, aim high and stay focused. Bottom line: Pray first before you do anything, aim and shoot high in your goals, and stay focused on God. ~ Faith is not the absence of doubt, but a step taken in spite of doubt. ~ A faith that hasn't been tested, can't be trusted. ~ Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see. ~ Philippians 3:13-14 ~ PRESS ON :) 1 Corinthians 13Love1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. friends (250)favorite pages
