Greetings To All, Thank you much for stopping by my page. I hope that something you see, hear or read will leave an imprint on your mind, heart, spirit or all three. I am first, a child of God, a daughter,sister,mother,auntie, friend,encourager,and compassionate spirit. I am a "Warrior Woman",the kind who understands that I have infinite potential because God who dwells within me is "my source". With Him, in Him, I can do what some see as the impossible.I have several testamonies to share with those who want to listen and because I have seen & felt the hand of God moving in my life, I know that I know I am truly blessed. I am a testament to the cliche' 'I am a continual "Work In Progress'! Even though I like to think I-am an I'm every-woman type of girl, I know that I have my ways and my faults (smiles)"! I love people.I love & admire my beautiful black people and I am so proud of who I am and where I come from. I look forward to the day when as a people we learn how to embrace one another, differences and all, and still love one another unconditionally! Our differences should make us driven to succeed as a whole...not drive us apart. My passions are, My Faith...seeking and knowing God intimately. very passionate about Motherhood (which is a life-long committment),My Family, my work: as a Nurse,Writer/Author,Poet,Found er and CEO of SWIFT Inc.(A-Group founded in 2000, whose Mission is the embracing and lifting up of Sisterhood, the Committment to stamping out illiteracy,Helping Abused Women & The Homeless and Our Youth)SWIFT is an acronym for Sister's With Insight Facing Tomorrow,& I am passionate about Community Service that brings about positive Change! It doesn't matter who you are or where you are in life, you have the power within to change something or someone around you for the better. In my later years here, I see my focus has changed from having many around me, to having positive people of substance around me in smaller numbers.I love people who keep it real.... life is too short for game playing. I like to laugh,I love to chill, and I can't be anyone better than I can be myself.....so thats what I flow with. I love and Honor my parents (Daddy RIP),I honor my ancestors,my culture, my beliefs. My advice to anyone in general is to love yourself completely! Stand on Faith and believe that God will not take you through something He is not going to bring you out of. Be rooted and grounded like that tree in Psalms 1....because when your roots are deep, and you can remain steadfast wherever you are planted, you might bend with the trials of life...but, you won't break.
