SUCH IS LIFE

What a beautiful week this has been. I started my new job....the first since being laid off, mid-December, after 3 glorious years with my last employer. I've had to ease back into work....shall we say slowly. The 29th of this month will be the ultimate test, school and work. Part-time work and full-time school. Umpf!! Praise be to God almighty for providing the opportunity and now giving me the needed strength to begin and eventually complete the newest chapter of my life. I have always known... IRRESISTABLE GIFT

I know it's been a while since I've shared a piece of my life with you...so here goes. I just got back from Florida visiting my family and friends. Lots of changes there but the people are pretty much the same. I had a wonderful time. My daughter and I stayed with my son, his fiance and their daughter. PRAYER CHANGES THINGS

Life has dealt me some serious blows throughout the years. I have had delightful ups and some tumultuous downs. In the midst of it all my belief in a higher power, my creator, has been magnified one hundred fold due to my constant connection with "God" in prayer. So much has been going on this year and I believe that I have come full circle. My dreams are unfolding in front of me. The dust appears to have settled and I am examing new things, people and places. For what seems like a lifetime I have taken care of everyone else. Someone has made it apparent that in order to restore balance in my life, I must allow myself to be cherished not in part but as a whole. MOVING DAY

My one year anniversary in Georgia will soon be here at the end of May. I was blessed to get the keys to my new apartment almost 6 weeks prior to the end of my current lease. Everything is falling into place quite smoothly. I was able to get some reliable help from family and friends to move my belongings up three flights of stairs. DADDY'S HOMEGOING

I get the dreaded call mid-morning saying that my father has passed away. Almost a month since my grandfather, my mother's father, passed. Although he had been diagnosed some time ago , he was in the advanced stages of lung cancer. I scream inside, it can't be time! He was hardly around when I was a kid and I held that against him for many years. Then I became a woman and had children of my own. Whatever happens, God loves you and will keep you. Be certain to pray Gods forgiveness over anything that does not line up with his word. His word is clear about sin even the smallest sins like lies, cussing, etc. it causes us to die because it separates us from God. God allows things to happen but most things are a test not a temptation...that is of Satan. Be certain that you not accept the lies of the devil....he is slick and would have us think that we are justified in our sin...that is not the case. Although we will never be perfect...we should strive for that ending to become as close as humanly possible to Christ. He paid the price for us...and gives us salvation free of charge. He only request that we trust and obey him. God is awesome and he will see you through. I will keep you in my prayers. Be blessed.
