What comes first, the compass or the clock? Before one can truly manage time (the clock), it is important to know where you are going, what your PRIORITIES and GOALS are, in which direction you are headed (the compass). Where im headed is more important than how fast im going. Rather than always focusing on what's urgent, i've learn to focus on what is really important. Set PRIORITIES for my GOALS. A major part of a successful living lies in the ability to put FIRST things FIRST!! The reason why most major GOALS are not achieved is that people spend time doing SECOND first. My GOALS are simply tools to focus my energy in positive directions, these can be changed as my PRIORITIES change, new ones added, and others dropped. The key is not to PRIORITIZE what's on my schedule, but to schedule my PRIORITIES... I thank god i live in a country where dreams come true, where failure is sometimes the first step to SUCCESS, and where, SUCCESS is only another form of FAILURE if you forget where your PRIORITIES SHOULD BE!!!
