I was born, raised, and educated in Washington DC. I got baptized on Mother's Day in 1988. After 40 days in the "wilderness" (more like 15 years, but who's counting . . . who the SON sets free, is free indeed!) I returned to The House of my father The King.

More than anything I love to glorify, honor and praise God! Before anything I was and will forever be a child of GOD . . . before the fact that I am mother of four amazing kids; Dallas, Asia, Kansas, & Brazil, I was a child of the Most HIGH; before becoming oldest daughter of devoted parents Lester and Geraldine, I was a KING's kid; and before being big sister to Nichole and Lester, I had a Double Inheritance; the Promise thru Abraham, and Grace thru Jesus!

I was born to bring honor and praise to my heavenly Father!

I enjoy the simple pleasures of life, although some might attest that I'm a complicated woman. I enjoy adventure, the romance of nature; walks in the park, picnics, hiking, the mountains, beaches, and playing in the snow. I also enjoy the pleasures man have bestowed upon us . . . shopping, traveling, performing arts, talking on the phone, and the internet (no doubt). I have a great affection for music, music, music, sweet REGGAE music, SOCA, and I definitely got to get my praise on! I'm always blessed by Donnie McClurkin, Byron Cage, Smokie Norful, Vickie Winans, Tye Tribbett, J Moss, Fred Hammond, Detrix Haddon, Israel and New Breed, Kirk Franklin, BeBe Winans and of course Madame Shirley Cesar; they make me dance dance, dance and sing unto the Lord.

I enjoy the sounds of Morgan Heritage, Cocoa Tea, Allison Hinds, and many "True" DANCEHAL L greats that shall remain nameless ;)

Moreover, I'm a lover of The WORD. The Truth is powerful ya'll, it's sweet and satisfying. It's ALIVE!

Some of my favorite preachers are: Bishop Earl A. Ross(good God in heaven-the TRUTH, the WHOLE TRUTH, and nothing but the UNADULTERATED TRUTH )New Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church, WDC, 20019; Pastor L. Nolan Fox- AKA the "creeper" (if you don't get it, then you just don't get it!) Enon Baptist Church,"505 L Street, N.E., WDC 20002" lol!; Dr. Myles Munroe, Bahamas Faith Ministry, Nassau Bahamas; Bishop Noel Jones (pause-this is a preaching machine!)City of Refuge Church in Gardena, CA near Los Angeles, Pastor Bobby Hicks (pause-have you seen this man preach??), New Home Baptist Church, Landover MD; Bishop John Francis (WHAT!!!!), Ruach Ministries, 122 Brixton Hill, London SW2 1RS, and many more! If you can break open the WORD with conviction, power, and demonstration- I'm sold out!

I also enjoy cooking, baking, and interior decorating. I am a very colorful and festive person. I enjoy working with graphic arts (considering starting my own gig!). I love to host and serve, and will devour any excuse to celebrate something! (Definitely plan to own a banquet hall!) I'm no artist but I like to sometimes draw on paper ideas I have for a certain event or decorating endeavor I'd like to pursue.

I have a quiet side too . . . I enjoy writing; reading endlessly on human anatomy, and human reproduction; any literature on the creation of our physical being fascinates me. I like the theatre and performing, it makes me dig way deep down into places I never knew existed within myself. It gives me an intense sense of pride, yet humility; accomplishment, with gratitude to the almighty God and reminds me that I am fearfully and wonderfully made . . . that I am created in the image of GOD-with whom, all things are possible.

Lastly, but never least I am a family oriented person. There's nothing like family, nothing replaces family and family isn't always the person you're of blood relation to (you dig). I love being the mother of three beautiful girls and the most handsome little man alive . . . featured below. God has been blessing me all my life, but even HE has truly outdone HIMSELF blessing me with Dallas, Asia, Kansas, & Brazil . . . the loves of my life.

I'm just about to turn ya'll loose-I love to talk . . . but not before this last segment: People who have profoundly touched my life are:

My Mom-that woman has immeasurable strength, both spiritual and physical (and she's only 5'). She can do ANYTHING she puts her mind to, all while being a CLASS act! I'm just like her (smile)

My Dad- My dad is the most humble person I know. I love to watch him enter the presence of God. I love to watch him, in the manifested presence of God. I admire his total surrender in worship. It's a place and a scene, I very easily recognize. He's an awesome Dad. There has never been a break in our relationship or his presence in my life for 38 years. I love him, for never leaving, no matter how hard it got.

Nikki-my BIG little sister, who is nothing short of a SOLDIER! A victorious soldier who allows nothing or no one to stand in her way. She has accomplished what most people dream of or FEAR! She's been my inspiration more often than she knows.

Granddaddy & Grandma-The OAK & The Peace Keeper! The dynamic duo. Living proof, that ALL things are possible thru Christ who strengthens us.

GG aka Aunt Juanita- A pillar of devotion, grace, and strength. A present day Ruth. I'll stop right there, 'cause this could get deep and ya'll don't want me to preach! I love and trust her with all my heart.

Aunt Brenda- The quiet storm. Meek and powerful all at the same time. She's my confidant and a real go getter. I love her from the depths of my soul! Uncle Tracy-The big brother, I always wanted, and a kind of unspoken, but tender love, I've never experienced outside of our relationship. I was his favorite, and I could tell! ;)

Bishop Earl A. Ross-A man of GOD who believes and preaches nothing but the truth, without separating or excluding his beautiful wife, my friend and icon Min. Dovie Ross! I never could've made without you! Holiness-is what I long for, and a cherished relationship is what I now have-in Jesus!

Pastor L. Nolan Fox- AKA the "creeper". His mild, friendly, and inviting personality is just the tip of the iceberg! Like me, he is ALL inclusive. He loves and embraces everybody from all walks and areas of life. He is a man who lives right and loves the people. He demonstrates by example-the necessity of relationship-all while being EXCITED concerning the things of God. BTW-creeper-just wait 'til the Holy ghost comes upon him . . . then you'll understand!

Last, but certainly not least, I must acknowledge the KINGDOM AMBASSADOR himself, THE Dr. Myles Munroe, who has helped to grow me up in sound doctrine, teaching and preaching kingdom concepts before Genesis 3! It was a dream come true to both meet and sit directly under his teaching. The man is bad! Who I'd like to meet:
Face to face-Jesus Jesus Jesus! While here on the colony, called planet earth, I have had the divine pleasure of meeting Dr. Myles Munroe, it was a dream come true! I'd also like to meet Noel Jones, see Dr. Myles again, actually I'd like to work for Dr. Myles . . . I'd love meet Barack Obama, actually I'd like to work for him too :) . . . I'd be fascinated to meet Mike Murdock, Donnie McClurkin, Fred Hammond, Patti LaBelle, and (this is an odd one, the spokesperson/CEO of Men's Warehouse commercials; I love his voice, and look.
