I was absent for a while, and my first day back, someone asked me if I knew. Knew what? And no I hadn't, and a sadness washed over me to know that she is not longer with us. A beautiful sister, with a beautiful personality .... she was always one of the first to greet me. I didn't know her personally - but we always shared many a personal joke. I will miss her ... as all of us will who had the opportunity to laugh with her. May God's love be with you, and continue to bless your family with beautiful memories, know that you are not gone, just waiting for us to join you ... to continue the laughter, just like old times. The Death of Sadness It happened rather suddenly with Gloom and Despair in attendance. One day Hope walked into the room. He was followed by Faith and Love. The dismal room suddenly was filled with sunshine. It was more than Sadness could take. He immediately fell dead on the floor. Self-pity knew he had to go and Regret was close behind because Hope was in the room. As Sadness hit the floor, Old memories rushed to his side trying to revive him, but it was no use because Hope was in the room. Gloom watch as his old friend departed. Despair couldn't believe his eyes. "Who let Hope into the room?" Growled Anger. "How dare anyone invite Hope with his brothers Faith and Love? How many times have those three occupied a life and brought their little sister Joy." Joy was spreading her self everywhere because a little joy goes a long way. As Gloom and Despair carried Sadness from the room they were met by Opportunity. Possibilities showed up and brought with him Positive Outcomes and Meaningful Relationships.

Moral of this story: When Hope comes into the room Sadness dies!
