Well. What would you like to know about me? I'm 31, I have 2 little girls, I'm back in SoCal after spending 7 years in Seattle and I'm loving being back! I'm not your "average" chick - I can rock with some jazz, some reggae, some Mobb Deep, some Talib Kweli, some Boney James, Mos Def or Sade, Teena Marie is my GIRL! (RIP Lady T) and I love, love, LOVE old soul music. Keep it old school! ;)

The main things to know about me if you wish to "approach" me are that I prefer smart, funny men and if you write me a one-liner, I probably won't get back - put some thought into it. If a woman knows you put thought into HER, she might put some back into you. :) Also, if you're on the other side of the planet I probably won't invest as I would ideally like to chop it up with someone who I could potentially go to coffee with. ;) Don't "holla" if you have nothing to bring to the table mentally, emotionally, spiritually and if your baby mama or ex isn't over you yet or vice versa and/or there's drama, be honest with us all and take care of UNFINISHED business first; thank you. ;)

I'm single but I'm in no haste to join a relationship. I'm perfectly content being a mom, sister, daughter and friend. A lover will come one day! I'm not a rowdy chick - I prefer water to liquor, recycling to clubbing; oh, and I'm a longtime vegetarian. I'm smart, I'm funny, I'm well-organized, and I take care of business. My other interests are reading, criminal justice, all things feminine like shopping and pedicures, tattoos (!), and comedy (LOVE to laugh). I love going out to dinner, dancing or a movie and I look forward to dating when I find the right candidate!
