Hello my name is Valerie. I am a single mother with five children and 8 grandchildren. Only one at home. I am employed and no longer on active duty. I belive in God and that it is He that dictates my life. Although I do not go to church regularly I have faith that God has brought me this far and without Him I would be nothing.

I reside in Sacramento. I have a small pet, Mikey. I enjoy my job and love my children. I would have it no other way. But what I am looking for;

I am looking for a man who is goal oriented and has their own. I am looking for an independent man who has patience because I am not perfect. I am looking for a man who is understanding and have strong shoulders for me to lean on. Because with a family as large as mine I need a shoulder to lean on. Someone I can talk to about any and everything. Someone who is not going to change me because I won't change you. Someone who listens because I will listen to you. Someone who will encourage me to be more than I am and support me on my journey of accomplishments. Someone who can be my friend first and lover second. Someone who can be the light when it gets dark and dreary and someone who will hold my hand as I travel down the dark road of disappointment. Life gives us many trials and tribulations and we get through them but I'd like to get through them with a friend. So you see I am not perfect.

I have ups and down, but I am a kind, considerate and unselfish person. I am not bad on the eyes, I have a little more weight that I'd like to but still not bad for "50". I have a job, car and nice house where I live. I have enough love to share with a large family and a loving man. I am looking for someone to share my life and not just a piece, but the whole thing.


Life is unpredictable you never know where it will lead. Oh yeah you may have planned it out but a detour will come and take you on another journey. An unsuspecting journey filled with anticipation, joy, laughter and sometimes grief. The real test is how you handle it. The real test is, can you follow through the detour and ultimately achieving the satisfaction of unmeasurable desire. Desire, could be anything from short term fullfillment or long term gratification. Your expectations have been detoured to a slow winding road but you triumph because your will to suceed releases vibrant shocks of passion that shoots you above that which altered but a moment, your life.

You relish in the estacy of supreme admiration of that which brought you through and you smile lightly, nod your head slightly and ease into the comforts of angel dust clouds, that which holds you above all. It is you that has arisen steadfastly, soaking the glory of complete satisafaction because you are the dictator of your own destiny, and the ruler of your mind, soul and body. The impression you leave behind is forever etched into the minds of all those that you touched on your detour to life. Etched with beautiul hearts, flowers, diamonds, and stars. Etched deep within the mind that when sleep enters the firewords begin and the wonderment of your detour is cherished forever.

Take a detour now and say hello, take a detour now and allow for the etching of your detour to be cherished today, tomorrow and forever.
