I was born and
raised in Greenville, South Carolina. I am one out of over 15 kids.
Don't look surprised!!!! My mother did not have 14 kids or more.
She birth five (5), adopted 2, then she and my father raised 8
foster kids. But she has had a total of more than 12 foster kids in
her home. She raised me from 3 days old now I am in my 40's. She is
not my natural biological mother to some, but she is my mother and
I love her dearly. She is a God fearing woman. She loves the Lord.
She is 82 and still living. My mother make cakes froms scratch,
love her flowers and grows them like nothing else, loves her family
and most of all loves God. She prays for everyone. So, maybe I will
get the gift one day. Now, I have 2 sisters deceased - my oldest
sister -Sarah who was from New York, who died this year 2007
(January-day after our mother's birthday). She had bone cancer,
then my sister older than me Muschell, who was mental retarded at
birth. I have sisters located in Georgia, Virginia and in South
Carolina where I am at. Then all my brother also live here to My
mother has over 50 grands and over 25 great-grands. I am the prod
mother of 4 daughters and I have 12 grandchildren and 1 grandson
deceased. I am a widowed, my husband was killed in a car accident
driven by his best friend. He will be deceased 7 years December 18,
2007. He was killed on our oldest grandson birthday. God has worked
miracles in our lives. I THANK YOU LORD. I thank Him for peace in
the midst of the storm. I pray to grow in my faith and that He will
continue to bless each and every one of you. Thank God for my
mother, she is my idol, she prayed for me as well as our family-I
respect her. Some of us do not respect our parents, but I do. I
love CSI, anything Tyler Perry makes, Law and Order, Horror Movies,
Drama, Action, etc. I am just like anyone else you "fix in" where
you want 2 "fix in". Love to travel, cooking, scrapbooking, taking
pictures of my family, crocheting, reading, etc.
Now, I will add a person note! Isa. 48:16-17 (KJV) "16 Come ye
near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the
beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord
GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me. 17 Thus saith the LORD, thy
Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which
teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou
shouldest go." The Lord teaches you to profit, by profit it is
spelled out in this manner:

everyone (specifically and generally)
R = read
the word of God
O = obey
the word of God
F =
forgive according to the word of God
I =
imitate Christ according to the word of God
T =
teaching everyone according to the word of God
After all that has happened, personally, locally, nationally and
internationally (world wide) God dropped this into a friend of
mines spirit and that is we are in a "Season of
Prayer." This is not to say that prayer is only for a
season (we are to pray without ceasing), this is to acknowledge
that at this particular time prayer is placed to the for front of
the battle field. Prayer is Action and we have to be active in our
prayer lives. Why? In prayer the lives that we are living are
active and we are only living by the Grace of God. How did we
receive that Grace, it was by no means anything we did, it is all
of what God did for us in Jesus.
Prayer is
as Prayer does. Praise God in your Prayers. I pray for you as you
pray for me, because we are ALL part of God's family. Not a sermon,
