Distinctive Productions is a group of promoters that are strictly Party People. We have ONE objective.
To host and promote Detroit's TRUEST PARTIES! PERIOD.
We are NOT big on themes....We Don't Give a DAMN if it's a Black party, White party, Red party or any Other color theme party. This is NOT the Land of Oz, this is the "D"!!!
And promoters are not the Wiz...IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PARTY!...... and its the PARTY People that make the party! NOT the theme!
How do I know?
I (J. Lew) have been hosting and promoting Cabaret's and parties at halls and clubs throughout Detroit for over 10yrs (from 1995-2005). I have partnered with a number of promoters along the way; "A Family Affair aka The Family", Distinguished Gentleman, Peerless Entertainment, and lastly Distinctive Productions.
After ten years of promoting parties, we took a break starting in 2006. We continued to attend other promoters events but found something different....something lacking...something wrong....it was no longer about the party...but about the THEME of the party.
We just like to party...I may not want to wear black on THAT particular night...ya feel me?...just as an example.....
That being said, we'll just say this... It's been a Long Time...since we left u...without a STRONG PARTY 2 step 2....think about all the WEAK parties u slept thru...TIMES UP....sorry we kept U...
