“I AM A WORK IN PROGRESS”

The Good Stuff:

- I am an absolute amazing writer, kisser, spades’ player and cook—it’s not bragging or cockiness, it just happens to be the fact of the matter

- I am probably the nicest guy you will ever meet (I have bank statements, references and forms to back it all up… lol However, taking my kindness for weakness is the swiftest and most assured to get your feelings hurt)

- I’m not like most guys on BP (I actually read pages, I have zero children and zero crazy-baby mamas. I do have a few crazy ex-girlfriends, but that’s neither here nor there.)

-And last but not least, I am a Christian. I do know what God has done for me and my life and I plan to live my life for Him. Now, of course, none of us are perfect and we all strive to do better; I try to do the best I can.. That being said, I am not one of those Christians who believes they are better than anyone and I am surely not one who doesn’t let people be who they are. God made us all in His image and we are who He wants us to be.

Imperfections:

- I’m a bum (I currently live in a house with seven of my family members. I don’t enjoy it but I need a roof over my head. I know that it’s not going to be this way much longer-- I'm going back to East Carolina in January 2009--  but we all go through things. I’ll be stronger for it in the future.)

- I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve (If I feel a certain way about you, I'm going to let you know whether it's positive or negative... i guess to some that's a good thing but for most people i know it's a bad thing.  A lot of people can't handle truth.)

- I am a dreamer (I daydream alot... I get caught up in certain scenarios and sometimes i just can't help it... in real life, i tend to be pretty grounded... i think i have a good grasp on reality, though...)

Things I like that most people don’t:

- wrestling (yes, I know it’s fake, I don’t care. I’ve been watching it since I was like eight years old. I’m not going to stop anytime soon.)

- King of Queens, Seinfeld, That 70’s Show, The Office

- texting (I really prefer texting to calling)

- R&B music (I’m not one of those dudes that has to listen to hardcore, thug %#&@$! all day long. Sometimes, I just wanna cool out and listen to something I can sit back, relax and just nod my head to. I believe Steve Harvey calls it “brown liquor music.”)

-Chess (nothing is more satisfying than knowing I’m playing chess while most dudes are still playing checkers)
