I was just thinking back to when a love jones was just that... when we would just kick it and hold the phone... up all night after work just kicking it... on the weekends at family and friends house eating all day listening to songs and just feeling good. When the sun was so dayum hot and you felt so dayum good.

When we would all just kick back and talk about a few good authors and read some sonia sanchez and sistas would die laughing and say now thats deep..

Nothing was all that complicated... On the lo holla at whoever to get up at the park later on that night.. rub shorty toes while watching the glow of the sun... when friendships back then are still cool til this day... when you think back to that was my baby.. you feel me?
