Who can know the soul of a man? And who can know the content of his character? If you never read the book, you will never know what it has to say. Certainly some men get caught up in the game. And some men are merely players. I grieve for those that are victims of abuse, and wish there were some way that I could ease their pain, or to make it happen that the abuse never had the chance to happen. But some men have sold their souls for a bottle of booze, or a measure of drugs, or for money, power, and sexual pleasure. But there are men like myself that have not sold out, that have not lifted up their souls to vanity nor sworn deceitfully. Yes, we have no trumpets to blow, no horns to toot, and we don't have billboards advertising how nice we are. We go to church, shop at Wal-Mart, and eat at quiet out-of-the-way restaurants. We're here, but you have to look hard to see us. About me: I'm 55 years old, king-sized and not ashamed of it, very gentle, and recognize how a woman wants to be treated. I've been married twice, and widowed twice. I'm a poor country preacher, and always will be. I have no desire to accumulate wealth, or to own a mansion. I firmly believe that the quality of life is not determined by the quantity of life. A wise man will never be totally broke, because his resources come from God. What I like: Gospel music, R & B, jazz, light R & R, things that have meaning, things that have purpose, science-fiction movies, action & adventure, comedy, sports, outdoor activities, libraries, museums, computers, history, genealogy, writing, drawing, singing, teaching, reading. Things I don't like: Loud and obnoxious people, ignorant people, gangsta rap, dweeby-cutesy-preppy-yuppy movies, extreme violence, abusive people, cell phones, dial-up, horror movies, and being ignored. Also, I don't like people abusing my guest book. I refuse to allow naked booty advertisements on my page, they will be reported and deleted. If you have any decency, you will respect my guest book. What I am looking for: Currently, I am in the opening stages of a relationship with a sweet lady that I met right here on the planet.
