Hi,Mz Kim welcomes you 2 her lil space on da planet,and she thanks you for coming thru....Now on 2 otha things ..this is me all day everyday!!!You can hate it or love it,either way I am still gonna be me..Mz.Shawty!! Now,I am no where near perfect but I love myself with all my flaws and all and will not let anyone change that!!So,if u not feeling me then just simply keep it moving 'cause I will be ok...I have been on here for a lil minute now and have met some cool people and some well lets get past that,.it is what it is...I am on here now and then,to check out some pages and see who's checking Mz Shawty out,respond to my notes,sometimes chat and if I happen to meet a new friend by doing this and that then its ok with me!! We all could use a real friend near or far,you never know what GOD has in store for ur life and who he is going 2 bring n 2 ur life whether it be in person or over the internet, maybe our lives were destined 2 cross paths for a reason.Thanks for taking the time 2 stop thru and read my page and as always be blessed and put GOD first in ur life and remember 2 pray 'cuz prayer does change things!!!! WHAT WOMEN/MEN NEED!!! Women Need: 1. Affection (Colossians 3:19) a. Women need foreplay and foreplay does not only happen in the bedroom. Foreplay can happen all day long. b. Women need sexless affection. This can include a lingering hug, holding hands, a sweet kiss. Displays of affection not just to get her in the sack but genuine gestures to show that you love her and care about her happiness. 2. Protection (1 Corinthians 13:7) a. Men! Chivalry has become a lost art. Whatever happened to opening your woman's door or pulling out her chair? And ladies, don't think that a man is being cheesy when he does these things. Women have become so independent that we don't even expect or appreciate these small gestures that say so much. b. Be a man of honor and valor. 3. Provision (Ephesians 5:29) 4. A Priest/Leader (Ephesians 5:23) a. If you want the woman to submit to you as the leader in the relationship, you have to know how to lead. She is not going to follow a fool. Be a man of your word. Let your yes mean yes and your no mean no. 5. Communication (Ephesians 4:29) a. Communication is a two-way street. Really listen to her and not just let her go on and on while you tune out. Communication can be part of foreplay.And be willing to talk to her too. 6. Love (Ephesians 5.25) a. Unconditional love is godly love. Love is patient, kind, envies no one, never boastful, never conceited, never rude, never selfish, not quick to take offense. This works both ways. We sometimes treat strangers on the street better than we treat the people in our own home. 7. A Friend (Proverbs 17:17) Men Need: 1. Due Benevolence (sex) (1Corinthians 7:3) a. Talk about the sexual commitment prior to getting married, i.e. libidos need to match up b. There must be availability and interest; do you desire your mate or are you just going through the motions? 2. A Friend (Proverbs 17:17) 3. Support (Genesis 2:18) a. Men need admiration; be proud of him where he is; don't criticize him, eulogize him. 4. Take Care of His Home (Proverbs 31:15-17) a. Domestic spirit/traditional roles are a lost art just like chivalry b. Men need a Help meet c. Ladies, don't bombard the man with complaints as soon as he gets in the door. The home should be a sanctuary, a safe-haven from the rest of the world. Greet him at the door with love. 5. Respect (Ephesians 5:33) 6. A Woman of Dignity (Proverbs 31:25) a. Be a Proverbs 31 woman 7. Submission (Colossians 3:18) a. To God and then to one another b. Look at one another through God's eyes c. Every family has a program/plan. There must be a leader to lead the program; the couple must work together to accomplish a common goal d. In marriage each person must be willing to yield e. Don't try to change him with your words, change him with your Godly behavior. Both genders need to feel attraction but men especially need it. Men are visual creatures and are aroused by what they see not what they hear. Attraction should increase as time goes on, not decrease. Stop going to bed in those t-shirts and boxers. If he wants you to wear a negligee, wear it. Do it for him. Reasons for tension in relationships today: 1. We don't date anymore and don't get to know the person well or spend significant quality time before getting married 2. Relationships are not God-centered 3. Some men view women like fire extinguishers (only created to put out the man's fire) 4. Some women think all men are dogs 5. After purchase, no maintenance 6. What you did to get them, you don't do anymore 7. Some women can't forget the past; don't hold him accountable for what Pookie did to you 8. We have so much to talk about when we are dating but once married we don't talk anymore 9. Levels of commitment to the relationship are not mutual; this must be discussed and not assumed. 10. Major incompatibilities or unexpressed expectations that end up not being met 11. Setting unrealistic expectations and harboring frustration when they are not met 12. Failure to grow and evolve as a couple
