I have never pretended to beperfect & I pity U who would
convince even themselves of such an impossible designation. I am
not interested in discussing the matters of failure or mistakes,
mine nor yours. However, I do know what I want, I want to find out
what works, as adults, we should know by now what doesn't. I want
2b happy. I want 2 laugh. I want 2 smile & I want 2 have fun.
All of this is possible, even in the midst of the most insane
moments & are amongst most afforded elements of everlasting
joy. I want companionship, the kind of companionship that
fertilizes hearts so that love grows like the wildest of weeds. I
want 2 happen upon friendship. How can one truly & honestly
plan such a thing with another? 2 say it is so would imply that U
really do not understand love & life & even less, Yourself.
We can control or minds & our bodies, but emotions speak the
terms of the heart, which we can only pretend 2 understand. Love
& friendship... In truth are both matters of the heart.
Happiness is a choice & I have chosen 2b happy. By God my heart
will provide the rest. Nothing happens on accident. Even as U read
these words it is intentional and 4 reasons U know not. Brandy
sings a song titled He Is, Beyonce (& the Destiny?s Child
singers ;-)) sing another called Love, Mariah sings a tune called
We Belong 2gether, Floetry sings Say Yes, & Mary sings Share My
World. They all sing 4 a man that makes their hearts smile & do
a Lipton Tea splash. I want 2b that 1 special man 4 that 1 special
woman. I want 2 make her heart sing all of these songs as we write
new ones. I want 2 make this special woman sing her little heart
out 'til she cries rivers of tears of joy. I have the love
sufficient enough 2 ensure she never runs dry. I will make her my
moon & she will shine brighter than any galactic star. I will
keep her in my heart so that my flames of love shine on her ever so
brightly that even her smile, her beautiful smile illuminates the
darkest of halls like the mid-day sunlight. Where r U My moon? What
is a light that casts no shadow? It is naught. It is void. It is
empty. Can we just commune, & speak a few words 2 one another 4
a few moments. I only want 2 know U & allow U the opportunity 2
explore the he that I am. I won't waste Ur time & I pray U
shall not waste mine, 4 unlike spilt milk, 2 squander time has no
rewards & constitutes the only gift unrecoverable. It takes but
a Hello, & the journey begins. Every great journey starts with
a step. U r already here & U've come this far so can we hold
hands & take this walk 2gether? Can we see how far our hellos
can go? 4get the less & expect the best. Lets be friends, the
foundation of companionship, the seed of love. Regardless, I thank
