::-7-7-06-:: UPDATE So it's been about two years since I've actually sat down and wrote something new on my page. So I guess I should catch you up on whats been going on with me. So In my last update I informed you that I was on my way to Oklahoma State University.

One thing I can truely and honestly say is that you never know what God has in store for you. I went to OSU because I wanted to have that full college experience, and I got all of that. I've partyed with the best of them, contemplated pledging, dated an athelete at a D-1 university, stayed up and watched ESPN replays to see my friends on tv, party'd all night just to stay up all morning studying for an exams. lol I've been broker than broke praying that God miraculously put my refund check in my account before the actual allotted time. The number one lesson I learned while I was gone, was the most important but a very simple lesson, that most people over look daily...

Trusting in God and leaning not to my own understanding...(lord knows I am lol ) I'm back in Lawton, working at the radio station (97.9 formly K98) full time afternoons from 2-7pm. I absolutely love my job! And I bless God daily for giving me an opportunity to fufill my dreams. Along with my show "The Jump off on 97.9 I also have a syndicated radio show airing in Lousiana and various cities across the south called "The Club Bangaz Countdown" A top twenty radio/club countown with DJ Sexy Lex of Lousiana, Dolby D of Houston Texas ( you might know him as UGK's DJ). Along with working I am still in pursuit of my orginal goal of recieving my degree. ( I need help in all things mathmatical !!! ) lol..anyway I'm at work now so I'll have to write more later lol Peace and blessings ~ Tropikana/ LaShonda

Sup Blackplanet peeps, as you can see my name is LashOnda aka shOndii. I`m 22 years old,and I attend Oklahoma State University. My major is Public Relations with a double minor in Advertising and Radio/Television production. so yea, my head stays in the books. ....Look out for me though, cause I`m going str8` to the top, and sucess is a must have.

->Future plans ? Well I went into Radio and Television production because I wanted to learn the inside, and background of the entertainment industry. I focused mainly on radio, because I love music and since I`ve had the wonderful opportunity of working in the field, I`m learning how easy it is to cross over into the corprate side. I`ve recently changed my major, well modified it to Public Relations. I plan to go into the music industry as an A&R, Record Rep, or a publicist. Over the summer I picked up a love for sports news, and announcing.So who knows I might entertain the option of being a sports publicist. <<BR> Oh yeah...I know it`s rare that people actually read everything on a page, but if you did read all of this and you`ve made it this far check out this photo album me and my friend made of our Oklahoma State family.
