Self-described Claire Huxtable in the making -- upwardly mobile, ambitious and goal-oriented -- minus the five kids! Aside from teaching Kindergarteners their ABCs and 123s (and dodging the cooties) I am also a graduate student pursuing my second master's degree. If all else fails, my contingency plan is to become a professional student... In my "spare" time, I enjoy long walks -- seriously. A few weeks ago I walked from 33rd Street to 125th Street. I love bike riding, although my bike is currently out of commission due to a flat tire. :-( I'm a huge music aficionado: Jazz, Bossa Nova, Underground Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk and World you name it, I probably own it. I usually catch live music during the week at different venues in Harlem. Lastly, I'm a voracious reader. The last five books I read (in the past three months) were: The Farming of Bones, Giovanni's Room, Breath, Eyes, Memory, The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty and Eleven Minutes.
