2 truths and a lie

Two of these are true about me. No joke. Which one's the lie? Take a guess...

personal message

Before we can become husbands, fathers or even leaders amongst friends and in our community, we need to grow. We need to grow from "Maleness to Manhood". We spend our lives as sons and brothers as naturally as being born. Life is about growth. The challenges we face are not meant to be obstacles but rather learning stages in which we grow through. We start as male babies. Then, male child, male teenager then young adult male and adult male. There comes a time when a transition is needed. This is the transition from Maleness to Manhood. As a Man you are natually a leader, teacher, comforter, provider, role model, lover, father, husband, friend. Without stepping away from being the son and brother you were born to be.

I Am A Man.
A Black Man.
People Will Expect Things Of Me
Because I Say,
I Am A Man.
A Black Man.
I Feel A Certain Way,
Because I Say,
I Am A Man.
A Black Man.
What Do You See,
When I Say,
I Am A Man,
A Black Man?
Will You Treat Me As,
Will You Respect Me As,
A Man,
Or A Black Man?

THE LAST BIKER!

The Last Biker...The old ones stand out now, their numbers dwindling down. They're sad loss to the American scene, these individualists with the worn down clothes, saddles and faces. You can still see them sometimes, the real ones, some in packs, not as large as a while ago, sometimes alone.

The alone one is the best. One who's been there a long time, staying in the life he loves, never giving into a system that sucks you up like a vortex if you slip just one foot... (continue reading)
