Changing the World
The world through the sight of a child....
I do not want to change the world
I want to change the people
How is it that Jesus walked along beside strangers
As I do when I play
Is it that I am a child
That is free from thought
Is it that I am innocent
I see colors everyday from different races when I play
That is so beautiful to me
That is all that makes us different
From the people that I see
If we were all blind would we unite as people
Should I close my eyes and cover my ears
Put my hands over my mouth to change the world
I wonder how great the world would be
If they just let it be
I would not have to change anything
We would all be free to walk along beside each other
I do not want to change the world
I want to change the people
