All of my praise to you Jesus!!! Life gets tough, sometimes I wanna
throw my hands up and quit-- it's so easy to forget-- that you're
on my side. Life's storms get to ragin' and I get angry at my
circumstances, but God....my God...you never leave nor forsake me.
All the times I messed up, backslid, took your love and grace for
granted because I was too blind to see the truth; you still took
those nails-- and now I'm compelled-- to press toward you. I gotta
know you, I gotta live in the Spirit. Christ you are the King, and
I will make sure that I make you "my" King. It's been a journey,
but since you're walking with me, I'm still here, A victim--never,
a conqueror--more than that. Through you, what I think I can't do,
I do greater; every failure transforms me for my success! My life
is empty and void without you. Church as usual; that won't do; not
for me ,and reader....not for you. We don't need religion, we need
Christ Jesus. Say the name, 'cause it's the only one the Father
will receive us in. You've tried the ladies, you've tried the
fellas; you've tried the drugs, you've tried the sex. Tell me, is
it workin'. You might think so, but everything in this life is
temporary. Only what you do for Christ will last. If you're a
sinner, turn around and repent( I ain't just talkin' to unsaved
folks oh holy and sanctimonious christians with no flaws...). Let
God change your life today, right now. Yeah, you...the one reading
this that think you got it all together 'cause you happy with your
lifestyle as it is, and you don't think you need God. Well, I gotta
inform you, your alarm clock didn't wake you up, God did. Your
skills didn't get that job and that promotion for you, God did.
That breath you breathin', that belongs to God. You own nothin';
not your car, not your life, not your body, not your soul. The
earth is the Lord's and the FULNESS thereof. So in short; Christ is
coming sooner than you think He is. Question is, if you die before
He comes will you be opening your eyes in Hell? What if He comes
while you sleeping with that man's wife, brothah, or that woman's
husband sistah? What if He comes while you doin' your dirt? True
repentance don't happen until you truly are grieved for the sin
that is in your life. Some of us need to get real with ourselves
and realize that without God cleansing us and working a work in our
life, we are doomed to be damned. God is not forceful, the Father
is a gentleman. You have to yield and take responsibility for your
own actions. Get some godly root in your life and learn how to be
stable in God. Everything is not peaches and roses. Learn how to
stand and quit running to sin everytime you get at mad at what God
allows to test you in life. Be willing to give up your comforts and
your way of doing things 'cause time is short. Will you be ready?
