What's good everyone. My name is JD and I am one of the biggest Hip Hop heads you will meet. I love and appreciate all types of music from Jazz to R&B. I am listening to music 24/7. I mainly listen to REAL HIP HOP. Hip Hop is different for everyone but to me Hip Hop is music with soul, music with purpose, music thats conscious. Like Chuck D said, "Hip Hop is the Black CNN." Hip Hop has evolved and changed to something new. Some of it is good, and most of it is bad. I am usually on Facebook and Myspace but recently noticed I made a Blackplanet profile like 5 years ago so here I am today. I have spent the last 6 years living and learning off and on at UF in Gainesville, FL. Just recently moved back to Miami to finish my last semester at FIU. I am a very open-minded person and love meeting new people so hit me up!

To tell you a little more about myself I am 23 and I am Haitian and Dominican. I am originally from Brooklyn but spent the past 16 years in Miami. I go to NY at least once a year if I can. My nickname is JD. Like I said I just moved back to Miami to finish my last semester and then I plan on enlisting in the Army and get my Master's on their dollar.With this move back home, I am trying to change and become a better person. I actually cut a lot of my ties and looking to make some new friends. What else can I say.... I have a nephew thats 3 and a neice thats 2 and their are the love of my life right now. I love life and I try to live it to the fullest.
