Apparel & Footwear Designer,
I've been designing and making clothes since the age
of 5 and building shoes since the age of 12.
The first pair of shoes I did build were a blue satin moccasin
that I wore everywhere ..till I wore them
out.

My mom and grandmother were both seamstresses
and my Grandmother drafted her own patterns.
My mothers father, my grandfather, was a cobbler however I never
met him.
I started creating mens wear first, denim jeans, denim jackets and
leather jackets and suits.
Then all of a sudden I transfered all of my efforts into the womans
line.
I attended Tuskegee University majoring in Merchandising with
a minor in Marketing, while in school is where
I came up with the idea for my designer label name "HAMITAF-
KEMETIAN",
which is my name spelled backwards Fatimah, and Kemetian being the
original name of Egypt, for Khemite meaning chemistry
so I guess you could say that HAMITAF KEMETIAN

is my chemistry, a collection of ideas and designs that I like to
wear. My favorite medium is leather and I enjoy making motorcycle
outfits
Aside from footwear.
International Academy of Design and Technology, is another school I
attended for one term, majoring in Fashion Design.
Limiting myself is not something I can do. Creating something,
bring an idea from conception to maturity is the greatest joy.
Mothers can feel that with their children.
As well as apparel and footwear I design and build waterfall and
ponds
The largest pond is 8'x14'x5' and the waterfall is 3' high. Is made
of cement with lights, drain, plant life
and fish. On the side I also dabble in
remodeling kitchens and bathrooms, sub floors and Interior
design.
