11/15/07 - I may be
somewhat redundant here, but I'm going to add some new knowledge
and insights I've gained over these past few months of active
particiapation on BlackPlanet.

I'm going to keep what I
already have because for the most part I like it and am not up for
a COMPLETE rewrite, yet I want to update what I
have....

-----------> I know that
people are people and I know that every woman and every man
essentially goes thru the same thoughts, desires, aspirations,
wants, needs, pain and pleasure. There *is* only one race which of
course is the HUMAN RACE... but unfortunately for the world today,
many whites from days gone bye haven't felt that way. Yes I know
there are still some that feel that way, but the percentage of
prejudiced and racial WHITE people today I would ponder is 75% or
more percent less than there were just 25 years ago!

Now to be honest I'm kinda
pulling those numbers out of thin air, but I don't think I'm too
far off in my estimation; and if I'm even remotely corect a 75%
improvement in just 25 years... ain't too bad.

Now a certain relatively
small percentage of black folks on here - similarly - automatically
dislike, distrust and take ofense to me - just, because of the
color of MY skin, and the way I look at it is they automatically
see me as the "enemy" even though I've never done anything
negative, wrong or unjust to any black/African person anywhere, but
all they see is the color of my skin.

Whether its a white person
disliking/distrusting blacks, or vice-versa its the SAME BASIC
EMOTIONS AND THOUGHT PROCESSES!!!!!

A saying I made up a
month or so ago: "Colors are not inherently bad - only people can
be!"Â

The world is becoming a
better place each and every day... and every day an IGNORANT OR
RACIST white or black person "passes on" the world becomes that
much better!Â

To ME, a Woman, regardless of her color, is
an amazing creature. From what she "goes thru" just being a
Female, to what she's capable of if shes treated and appreciated
properly...

Great posting I saw on another Blog: A white woman, about 50
years old, was seated next to a black man. Obviously disturbed by
this, she called the air hostess. "Madam, what is the matter," the
hostess asked. "You obviously do not see it then?" she responded.
"You placed me next to a black man. I do not agree to sit next to
someone from such a repugnant group. Give me an alternative seat."
"Be calm please," the hostess replied. "Almost all the places on
this flight are taken. I will go to see if another place is
available." The Hostess went away and then came back a few minutes
later. "Madam, just as I thought, there are no other available
seats in the economy class. I spoke to the captain and he informed
me that there is also no seat in the business class. All the same,
we still have one place in the first class." Before the woman could
say anything, the hostess continued, "It is not usual for our
company to permit someone from the economy class to sit in the
first class. However, given the circumstances, the captain feels
that it would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so
disgusting." She turned to the black man and said "Therefore, Sir,
if you would like to, please collect your hand luggage, a seat
awaits you in first class." At that moment, the other passengers
who were shocked by what they had just witnessed stood up and
applauded.
