My page has been private for awhile.
Some of you thought maybe I was hiding something, like the fact that I'm a big girl. However, if you're familiar with the "Big girl culture", you would know what my screen name B-B-Dubyuh (BBW) stands for. I have nothing to hide. I like to use the privacy feature to monitor and keep out losers.... lol BUT ANYWAY...MOVING ON... *The info down below still holds true and is updated as needed.*
So, I'm a 25 yr old, large black woman (BIG lil Sista) from St. Paul, MN.
I have a fairly nice job. I've been to college and I plan on going back soon. Hopefully to be Polysomnographist (Sleep Study Technician)
I have no children (and don't plan on it for awhile)
I don't have alot of friends, but I have good friends

Now that I have a little more time on my hands, I can do this page how I used to do it!
I'll start by telling you a little more about myself...
I am a pretty cool and easy going person. I know that's the same thing EVERYBODY says, but I truly am.
Yes, I do have my moments when I get stressed out and moody, but not very often and not for too long.
My weeks lately have kinda been routine, but when I'm not working I like to hang out with my friends, maybe have a couple of drinks, eat out or catch a movie. I can be pretty silly at times, but only around a select few *wink*
I've been on Blackplanet since 2000 (my other page is Shay_Lah), so I've seen it evolve into what it is today...and let me tell you...they came UP!
But anyway, I am here to make new friends and keep in touch with the old ones. I check in a couple of times a day to get my notes, read any new articles and I chat occasionally...in the BBW room of course!
For the inquiring minds, yes I am currently single....HOWEVER, I'm not looking for a man from online (The application on top is just a funny joke) I won't go into details, but I'll just say there are some CRAZY men on BP! Besides, being single isn't all that bad! :D
So with that being said, you can save your one-word and one-liner notes. (They're SO annoying)
And you can move around with all that hood talk, I can only take so much of it before I just wanna barf!
And old men.....GIVE ME A BREAK! (never gonna happen) ICK!
Ok, so I'm done going on and on about myself but let me just say I recently had the opportunity to work in the medical records department of an OB/GYN clinic for a couple of months. What I've seen is truly AMAZING! Ladies, we need to start taking better care of ourselves. Strap up if you don't want a baby! And don't be mad and have stankin azz attitudes at the doctors and nurses cuz you're pregnant and don't wanna be! It's not their damn fault! And last, protect yourself from STD's cuz it's out here BIG TIME and now I can say I've seen it with my own eyes.
I've also worked at a clinic where a lot of the patients are HIV positive or recently diagnosed as HIV positive. I'd have to say it's one of the hardest jobs I've ever had, knowing that these people are coming in for their routine check-ups because they have a fatal and incurable disease...
IT'S REAL Y'ALL!
For those of you who think you can tell what someone 'has' just by the way they look, or believe they don't have anything because they look 'clean'....think again. Some of these men and women are drop-dead-gorgeous!
So don't be fooled...
