personal message

Hello to all my beautiful brothers and sisters.

About me...

I am a seeker of the truth. I believe in equality for all. However, in order to achieve this monumental goal, we must know the truth...know our history and be prepared to read, question and investigate. Knowledge is power. I know and understand the Media is an instrument of manipulation and usually full of lies as the airwaves, hollywood and print magazaines are run by a select few. With that being said,I am passionate about everything that I do, because I do it...whatever it is out of love and compassion. Favorite Movies....

....Love Actually...Crash...The Color Purple....The Family Stone...Lady Sings the Blues...Love and Basketball...Brown Sugar... Boyz in the Hood....Set it Off...Malcolm X...Meet Joe Black....Shaft...The Wedding Singer...Mahogany...The Matrix....The Five Heartbeats...The Temptations... What`s Love Got to Do With it... I know I am forgetting a ton more that I love. What are some of your favorite movies?

Favorite Artists And Songs...

Stevie Wonder, Syleena Johnson, Minnie Riperton,Vivian Green, Mary J. Blidge, Dave Hollister,Rasaan Patterson, R Kelly,Rick James and Teena Marie, Common, Chaka Khan, New Birth,Confunction, Jaheim, Genuwine....believe me I could go on and on and on...

What am I Looking For?

I have been asked this question many times. My answer is not simple. I would like to take it upon myself to speak for me and my kind. By me and my kind...I mean true black women. We are looking for friendship, unconditional love, partnership, loyalty, dedication and a spiritual connection. I am not interested in a man who has not had positive role models in his life, who does not love women or has issues with women. I am not interested in being your mother...I have a beautiful daughter who is the light of my life and everything I do ultimately affects her. So ultimately I am looking for nothing, whatever God has for me will find me....my life is good...actually it is great...

Please don`t misunderstand me...I am not male bashing. I truly love men. Far too many of us make children without realizing the sacrifice and dedication it takes to make our seeds positive reflections of ourselves...God`s Children. I have adopted a new theme...or at least revised an old theme...and that is one of black love. What happened to our strong family units? What happened to the idea that two people unite under God and in front of friends and family, dedicate their lives to one another? If we all want to be loved...then why is it so hard for us to show love, give love and receive love?

Let us try to be kind to one another everyday.

Please come back and check often, I will be building this site as a positive place. Note: Please, please do not waste your time to contact me with explicit comments and/or requests or expectations.
