Thank you for visiting my site. I hope that my story encourages YOU to let go and LET GOD. I am NOT looking for a quick "hook-up". If this is your intent, I respectfully ask that you move on. Otherwise, I pray that you enjoy my page. B.
I am a 41 year old native Tennesse girl. I`ve lived in the southwest, east coast, and mid-south and I must say, there`s nothing like the Mississippi Delta. I hope life is treating you well...if it`s not, just wait a few minutes!
I was adopted as an infant (as you will read about below in The Journey). My mother was only 15 when I was born; my father was only 17 and they remained friends.
I was raised by a family just 5 minutes-yes 5 minutes down the street from my birth parents. I recently found them and what a blessing they are.
The woman who I knew as Mama passed away in October of 2002 after a long, hard fight with cancer. In 2007, I later became the lead social worker in the hospital cancer center where she was cared for. Mama gave me life lessons that became the blueprint of my life. She was like a lioness; loving and ferocious when defending her young. She had a kind of integrity and truth about her that you don`t see very often.
My birth mother, is a beautiful expression of God`s love...we look like twins. lol She is my friend. She held my hand and comforted me when it was Mama`s time to leave this world. I did the same for her 1 month later when she lost her father.
God has shown me that our lives can be compared to a kaleidoscope: with each turn, there is shifting; falling pieces, changes. The picture, however will always be beautiful. Just be still long enough to marvel at His work...His design is perfection. All things have a season, so love the Winter as you love the Spring...they all have a purpose.

WOMEN
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up for injustice.
They don`t take "no" for an answer when they believe there is a bettersolution.
They go without new shoes so their children can have them.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about a birth or a new marriage.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They have sorrow at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all SIZES, in all colors
They`ll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you. The heart of a woman is what makes the world spin!
Women do more than just give birth.
The HEART OF A WOMAN is what makes the world spin!
They bring joy and hope.
They give compassion and ideals.
They give moral support to their family and friends.
Women have a lot to say and a lot to give.
THOUGHTS ABOUT MEN.....
MEN
They protect us when we think we don't need to be protected.
They want to cry, but will we say they are weak? They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up for injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer when they believe there is a Better solution.
They go without so their families can be at peace at night.
They go to the doctor when they HAVE TO.
They love from their hearts, too.
Sometimes we perpetuate their degradation by calling them DOGS when they won't sever ties when the TIME is right.
Their hearts break when a friend dies- and many times, they cry alone.
They have sorrow at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when WE think there is no strength left.
They NEED that hug and kiss that heals a broken heart-AND INJURED PRIDE.
Men come in all SIZES, in all colors
They`ll drive, fly, walk, run, text, or e-mail you to win your heart.
The STRENGTH OF A MAN is what makes the world spin!
Men bring joy and hope.
They give compassion and ideals.
They give moral support to their family and friends.
Men have a lot to say and a lot to give.
WITH MORE THAN MY EARS, MY BROTHERS, I HEAR YOU.
The Journey
***Conceived in passion, kept secret to ensure my birth...
***In tears you had to walk away, your flower would grow on another`s earth...
Loved by a princess who ruled like a Queen...I grew up in the palace and learned so many things...
Things that would shield me in the days of wrath and nights of death...
Thingsthat led me back to HIM when I couldn`t find myself...
Thank you for wisdom, and patience, and love...for teaching me that the BEST kind comes from up above...
Above the mansion, above the green trees, above the principalities that try to keep me from being free...
Thank you for this gift of LIGHT, I will use it for the right things...
I`ll contribute, encourage, uplift, spread my wings...And fly, Mama...and FLY.
For the late Juanita H. (Mama)
