When the waves pulled your ship

into dock in the Atlantic sea

You were fine and I was smitten

I invited you into my home

Shared my space and called you my own



You were my companion

I thought of us a "pair"

I did not know that I had to share

Until I found a letter

You should have known better

Cause compared to you I`m twice as clever



You tried to be a playa

And see her on the side

You came home from sea and told me lies



But she was innocent and unaware of your game

So we surprised you at home when you came

We sat side by side on my couch

Did you forget that "I" caught you in a bold face lie?
