NO ONE EVER PREPARES FOR THE LOSS OF A LOVED ONE. ESPECIALLY ONE THAT IS CONSIDERED THE GLUE THAT KEEPS YOUR FAMILY TOGETHER. I RECENTLY LOST MY GRANDMOTHER, AND THE PAIN OF THAT MAGNITUDE IS AN INDESCRIBEABLE PAIN. I FEEL GUILT BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS I WANTED TO SAY AND ASK, AND I TOOK HER TIME IN MY LIFE FOR GRANTED BECAUSE SHE HAD A CHARISMA ABOUT HER THAT WOULD MAKE YOU BELIEVE THAT SHE WOULD OUTLIVE HER CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN. SHE WAS A STRONG LADY WITH WILL, DRIVE, AND DETERMINATION TO RAISE 14 CHILDREN!! I LOVE YOU AND I MISS YOU MOTHERDEAR!! R.I.P. ROSIE ARNOLD 7/13/1921 - 1/14/2008!!! Sometimes we can get so excited and overzealous when it comes to the prospect of finding that special person, we can ruin a good thing before it even gets started!! No matter how unintentional or not knowing how the other person is handling your "playfulness," First impressions can betray who you truly are!!! Hello Nubian Queens, my name is Anthony! Another year has come and gone, so that means I`m 37 now(OH LAWD I'M GETTING OLD!!!) It feels good to know that the good Lord has blessed me to make it to this age. A lot of people I grew up with and went to school with didn`t make it, or have found themselves locked away in prison. And for you DL brothas and out the closet men, I don`t get down like that so don`t swing this way. I have my own d*** I don`t need nobody elses!!! My news for this year.....A BROTHA HAS COMPLETED COLLEGE IN KANSAS AND HAS NOW TRANSFERRED TO UALR!!! Another news flash, my 2 year stint in Kansas has brought me another daughter, so I now have three girls. They are 12, 6, and 2. I'm not trying to say that I'm a candidate for father of the year, but I love my babies very deeply, and I do whatever I can to let them know that daddy will be there when they need me. My biggest challenge now, is that my youngest daught is in Kansas, so the process of trying to spend time with her and hopefully receive joint custody is an uphill battle. But I won't break, nor will I give up!! My baby is half me, and turning my back on her, is like turning my back on myself!!! Check this out fellas, paying your child support is a good thing, but don`t let that be what makes or breaks the role in your child`s life. Spending time and being a major part of your child`s life is more important than ANY financial gift you can give!! And ladies, I know it gets hard out here when you have some of these brothas that don`t want to take care of their responsibilities, but PLEASE, don`t talk bad about the man in front of his child!! When the child gets a little older and wiser, they will see who was around and who wasn`t. I know it may not seem that way now, but in the long run when it matters most, you will see. And if you have a brotha that`s trying to be a part of his child`s life, no matter how pissed off you are at him, PLEASE don`t prevent your child from having their father in their life. Big props go out to the brothas that play a major role in the life of another man`s child!!! I`m not the best father, but I know I need my kids just as much as they need me.
