About me huh…… well…. I have many names. My mother wanted to name me NaQuita Maria, my father named me NeKisha Marie, my friends call me Kesh, but my name is Nadeje (never mind my page name, BP will not let me change it…..it’s amazing what three years does for maturity level. For further clarification, Nadeje is French for NeKisha meaning “Hope”,,,,. I have hopes to be the best woman God intends for me to be, I have hopes to become everything I dream to be, and I hope I never let life and struggle take that away from me.

I have been a writer since I knew what to do with a pencil,,,,, my style of writing today is a mixture of my real life situations mixed with the embellishment of fantasy. Fantasy, although far from reality, takes me on a vacation from IT. So in saying that I must also say I am my biggest fan… as well as my worst critic. I enjoy reading my work upon completion… it takes me to a place I never want to return from. I act on emotion so you can feel what I feel when I see in my mind what I’m writing. I write a little bit of everything but my favorites are my poems and erotic short stories. I dare you to enter my thoughts….I leave you wanting more and promise to satisfy that literature thirst of yours!

I love music. Music to me is the soundtrack to life; every song I keep in my book of favorites means something to me in a special way. It either reminds me of a scent, a moment, a feeling of a bad or good memory. Growing up in the 80’s rocking to fine, soulful, meaningful music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s is why I appreciate music the way I do, but feel a change in direction is needed. One day, I pray, that God will allow me the opportunity to bring Midwest Muzik to the forefront of the industry, so our nation will see, what we have to offer. Passion is what is needed in the industry today, and what better human being than a passionate %#&@$! female could do the job the way it should be done, presenting a passionate %#&@$! region to the world! Flat-Line Entertainment is my baby, and like a child I will go to the end of all worlds to nurture it and raise it in the way it should go,,,,,and it’s destiny is ONE of my favorite S words,,,, Success! It is the recording label,,,, my entertainment mad house rather,,,, housing all of the talents trapped in the realm of no way out Cincinnati. From Hip-Hop, to spoken word, R&B, neo soul, alternative rock creeping into comedy, drama, fashion. I have owned it now for six years,,,it’s been an LLC for three. I have hosted several events, a host of many shows and three studio albums to date. I am currently seeking out potential sponsors so if your reading this and you are one, send me a private,,,I have your proposal on deck. It’s major goal is to put the Midwest creative scene on the map. I clearly believe it’s our turn. We have been designed to cater to the voice of the streets that are fighting to be heard. I am the owner…….marketer ……..promoter&hel lip;……booker&hel lip;…..manager…& hellip;.event coordinator and promoter. I have to confess as many have before me that this is not an easy venture and certainly not a considerate business especially living in Cincinnati however, if you should check out my artists you’ll find the fire behind what I do and what drives me to be the best! The signs were placed in my face to stay away
But I ignored them
They were calling for my name and I went deaf at the warning
Because I wanted you and nothing else
Would simply do
What is bad for me feels so….. Damn…… good
Your body is calling for me and I don’t think I should
Devour you, sip you, take you in
Like enormous amounts of chocolate it’s all just a sin
I taste a few and delicious they are but as I continue my stomachs turns and creates a scar
That’s what you are…… a reoccurring scar!
No matter the amount of applications of Ambi, cocoa butter and vitamin E. you…just….won&rs quo;t….leave!
And your kind of chocolate continues to give me an ache
Not the nauseating one
But the pelvic ache, the place I want love to make
Laying eyes upon your face I won’t anticipate I just react
Knowing full well where this leads to but my kiegle muscle doesn’t know how to act
And she contracts….
The ache that as you enter me I suffocate for breathe
The ache as when your lips brush mine, I find my breathe and release a wine
And my body curls and contracts into a whirl cause I need u 2 go deeper

Passion and lust, I was forewarned but behold, passion and lust has turned to love that is stone cold

As we lay, I attentively leave behind

So that when in my absence you inhale me and become high
And in your thoughts as you close your eyes, you see me in a light that only angels can shine, and not the light in between my thighs
I watch you as you sleep fighting my self to creep
And leave this place I should not be
As I cross the threshold of this daunting place, the warning signs are written on my face
But I missed it and I miss you
And those signs continue to block you
The farther away we are the closer and I am to you
Heart & soul, mind and body but the distance got me itching
And twisting, and turning in my sleep
This battle with loving you is deep
But loving you is far from what I need……

FROM A MOVEMENT 2 A FORCE!!!
For the past ten years, Cincinnati Hip-Hop has been nothing more than just a ?movement?, artists creating their own style & flavor of music, with a mixture of street & reality type lyrics, who have all played a huge part in the Midwest "Movement" to now being a forced to be recognized & reckoned with. Now Cincinnati/Midwest Hip-Hop is on the rise, & after the other three regions have had their times to shine in Hip-Hop, the Dawn of the Midwest region is finally rising. A total of the top & hottest Hip-Hop artists from Cincinnati will perform in each show, showcasing their talents and gaining exposure from Cincinnati Hip-Hop fans. Each part of the show will be recorded, & packaged as a DVD, given freely to those who purchase each artists albums, or charged a fee for purchase by itself. This show will also promote a non-violent environment, decreasing the violence found in Hip-Hop environments, & providing a safe club atmosphere for club goers & supporters of the Cincinnati/Midwest Hip-Hop Movement. The main reason why there is a lack of support for Cincinnati/Midwest talent is because of the violence that is found at these establishments. Advertising it in radio & paper ads, as well as enforcing it at each and every show, we will bring awareness to the violence in hopes that it will decrease & soon END! This will also attract more tourists to our city, especially those who are in the entertainment industry, providing an outlet for local talent to get noticed. The show will expand into other parts of the Midwest in Spring of 08?, after a successful run of the 10 shows given right here in our hometown. Ideas for shows in Indianapolis, Dayton, Cleveland, Louisville, St. Louis, Chicago, & Detroit are in the works ((((Hip Hop is more than music; it is a way of life. Hip Hop is not nearly a fad, but a worldwide phenomenon. In the Midwest, Hip Hop is a place many mainstream ?heads? ignore, where the culture of Hip Hop is held sacred and incorruptible by the commercialization. It is where acts struggle to put together the money to record and they pine for the time. The Midwest is the foundation of Hip Hop, where the inner workings of the scene support the mammoth that Hip Hop has become. In a lot of Midwestern cities, the music scenes have been more desolate-in part because ambitious talent has been too busy trying to leave town to concentrate on and creating an indigenous sound. Rappers and artists in Midwestern cities incorporate elements from east, west & south to create a unique fusion with a potentially broad appeal. Rather than an identifiable ?Midwest sound?, there are instead multiple sounds from artists whose ties are regional, not stylistic.)))) TO MY BEAUTIFUL BLACK MEN: You are a stong creature, you are the father to all generations, race and nationalitys, YOU ARE STILL THE KING! You are beautiful, talented, strong, intelligant and God made you to rule the earth. Please take heed to your character and take responsibility for your actions and your people.
