My activities include reading and writing. I'm a loner so I'm usually on this computer typing away and checking my mail in a dark corner. But if I'm not doing that I'm working on some lyrics or at a photo shoot. :o) My interests? Well, I'm interested in the music industry. I'm very passionate about what I do! The first thing that I've ever grown to love after family would have to be music. I didn't grow up with musical parents or family members to really inspire me. I just clinged to it! I started off with a little tinker toy piano set and then up graded to the recorder in the 3rd grade. Reading and understanding music was easier for me than reading a short story. (Sad but true) Entering Jr. High school, I had to beg and plead to be let into their band. I was a late comer for my 6th grade school year but quickly became the 1st chair. My dad bought me my first clarinet at the age of 12 and for the first 4 to 5 years of owning it it was never out of my sight. I played all day long. I played on my lunch hour at school, I played for my teachers and friends. I even played for strangers in the street when I became a street musician. Shortly after I joined the band my mother bought me a jazz casset tape. I quickly feel in love with it. It featured Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway and my favorite singer of all time... Ella Fitzgerald.
At the age of 15 I took an interest in jazz singing. I didn't take it too seriously because I still wanted to pursue my career in my instrumental music. My class mates in high school were my first audience. I sang "Strange Fruit" by Billie Holiday. I started writing my own material at 18 but I mostly sticking to modern R&B at the time. At the age of 19 I decided to really get into the industry some how, I thought modeling would be the easiest way to do so. So I started shooting like a mad man! I picked up my jazz singing and started performing in the subways again. It helps eliminate fear and force me to create better stage presence. At first I thought that singing R&B at one point would of been more beneficial to me when it came to drawing in a crowd but I was so wrong. I just needed to stay true to what I really loved. Jazz is the type of music that lets me be myself. Singing Jazz is like letting my soul cry out to people. I'm just trying to reach out and grab you with my music.
Through modeling I learned to be creative in so many different ways. It made me want to create over and over again. I began to realize my love for photography after a while of shooting in front of the camera. I personally think it's the creative control. I want to plan out and make every detail something spectacular. My passion for photography grows with every day and every shoot. I want to be extremely diverse when it comes to creativity! When it comes to the "arts" I couldn't tell you that there is one thing in particular that I'm shooting for. I love to cook, sing, dance, write, compose music, model, apply make up, hair styling and shoot photography. I'd love to break into acting too. I want to do it all! I KNOW IT IS SPELLED OFFICIAL! IT'S A MISTAKE I'M JUST TO LAZY TO FIX SO SHUT THE HELL UP! I MADE THIS SIGN SO PEOPLE CAN STOP ACCUSING ME OF BEING FAKE. THERE ARE TOO MANY STOLEN IDENTITIES ON THIS SITE SO I DON'T BLAME THEM.
