Whats up? Thanks for stopping by to check out my page. I'm a single, 39 year-old, black female in North Aurora, Illinois. I am on BlackPlanet to network with people who share my goals and interests. But before you go messaging me, let me tell you what I am not interested in. I do NOT want to meet any liars, lazy, shiftless, or lay-about folks, or anyone without HONEST gainful employment...I've been there and done that. I don't care to involve myself with anyone who is undependable or unreliable. So basically, don't give your word unless you are sure that you can and WILL keep your word... . I don't need to deal with anyone who won't apologize for his f*ck ups, or who makes excuses for them. I DO NOT want ANYTHING to do with any selfish, inconsiderate, greedy, or financially needy brothas. I have it hard enough trying to make it for my family, so I don't need any help in that department. In short, what I am looking for is a friend with values of truthfulness, integrity, solid work ethics, reliability, thoughtfulness, compassion, consideration for others, and accountability for his actions. Now that I've weeded out the ones who are not compatible by getting the serious stuff out of the way, I've got something to say to the select few of you guys who are left standing! I enjoy listening to R&B, some Hip-Hop, gospel music, watching romance, horror, and action films, dining out, shopping, dancing, nights out on the town (grown-up nights!), singing (although I'm pretty shy...), cooking American,a little Mexican and a little Italian, baking (I love to bake; ask me my specialty!) reading romance novellas, black romance novellas, horror/thriller stories and books, some non-fiction books, and a little more. I also enjoy outside activities like taking in beautiful scenery of parks, lakes and beaches. Though I've lived in Aurora for years, there are few places I've actually visited in or near the big city. I would like to see the Navy pier, the Lakefront, and other sites of the city, and I think sharing those experiences with a friend would be even better. I'm not opposed to a friendship developing into a relationship, as long as my friend comes correct and STAYS correct! I don't deal with secrecy, deceit, or foolishness (a/k/a games).
