Here is an overview of The Next Steps: Desire, Deception and Deliverance that is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, organizations and incidents are either the product of the author's imagination or fictionally used. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, events, or previously affiliated organizations, groups or locales is entirely and purely coincidental. The Next Steps is the story of a Grifter and college grad in the twentieth century. Benton is the Grifter that has reinvented himself into an Investment Banker. Rae is the college grad that observes him raping, robbing peoples minds, bodies and purses. Will she be the next victim? He is like the Snake Oil Salesmen of the 19th century South, using lies and schemes to decieve people for his demonic financial gain and sadistic sexual pleasures. Benton is his own god and has his own motto which is,"DO WHAT I SAY DO, GIVE WHAT I SAY GIVE AND DO NOT ASK ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT I SAY OR DO." His mode of operation is to use whoever he can, where ever he can, get all he can and disappear as soon as he can. Only this time, he will encounter people more demonic and sinister than he is. Meanwhile, gullible well meaning people think that he's the new age financial Messiah, sent to save them from their ill planned financial, emotional blunders and failures. Nothing could be further from the truth. Benton nearly destroys everyone he comes in contact with, as he charges full force in his quest to live like a Rock Star on other peoples money. He has done this before and believes he is clever enough to do it again and not to get caught. He is a true Snake. He figures this town is no different, just a bunch of working hicks that need someone and something to make them feel good about themselves. He introduces them to something new alright, for a price. They are FALSE HOPES,LIES AND DREAMS that almost destroys them. They drink it up like cactus drinking water after a freak thunderstorm in the Sahara. His only interest is filling his pockets with their money and filling himself of whatever sexual twisted pleasures he can get from love depraved abused innocent people. Benton is full of himself, like his father the devil. His project is to ravish peoples minds, hearts and destroy their souls in the process. Although the characters in the Next Steps are fiction. Very few people these days are what they say they are. I have learned never to take people at face value. The first time when they show you who they are, believe them. The Next Steps is told through the eyes of Racine Rochelle Tisdale, or R.R. as she is called in the corporate world. Join her as she begins her education of people and life, only to realize that deception is subtle and happens daily. Anna Bryant is retired and lives in the Midwest. She is the mother of two grown children and one grandchild. Her passions are reading,writing, traveling and sewing. This is her first book that eplores the inner demons that inhabit so many peoples minds and hearts these days in this 'materialistic,by any means necessary mode' that many peopleoperate from.
