Charlie Rae' is a company that was started based on a dream turned quickly into a reality. One day while sitting at home daydreaming I came up with the idea to start a clothing company. I have always dreamed of starting a clothing company as an early teenager however, I was unable to come up with the resources or the funding for it. Now as an adult I'm much wiser and more financially stable. However, after doing several long hours, and days researching the clothing industry. I decided that I would prefer to start a shoe line first. Since, I then knew that I wanted to start a shoe line, it was then time for me to come up with a good name and logo. I came up with the name Charlie Rae' based off of these factors: 1. It's my nieces first and middle name, and the word Rae' is my mothers, sister, and grandfather's middle name however theirs are spelled differently (therefore Rae' is a family name? lol) 2. The name Charlie Rae' is very catchy, and unique 3. The shoe's will be inspired by my niece based off her character and sassy ways . 4. The logo is a C, and R that is connected made into the shape of a butterfly with angel wings, which best represents the name. After coming up with the name and logo, I then needed a good designer to help me with my designs, so I teamed up with designer Corey Jones. I teamed up with Corey based off the fact that he is a versatile designer, who gives 100% in every thing that he does. He will serve as my head designer as well as a co-owner. As of now the first couple of shoes that will be released are for women, and they will be limited edition shoes. Limited edition means that you will not have to worry about everyone wearing your shoes, you will be different and stand out. Also, Charlie Rae' is a company that wants people from all cultures, races, and ages to enjoy and wear it's products. It is my dream to first start the Charlie Rae' brand off as a shoe line and then branch off into some clothing. Charlie Rae' will not only be for women, one day we will also have items for men. COMING SOON WINTER 2007!!
