BIO:

By integrating self-consciousness and sincerity into the template of Southern Rap, Yung Kuntri Mane"Da Carolina Throughbred" stands out among the masses as an up-and-coming South Carolina emcee trying to break nationally in 2008. Perhaps it was the streets, or the deep seeded desire to live a better life than the one he was given; either way Yung Kuntri Mane has forged a path that is not only that of a ghetto prophet, but one that is fueled with the energy of southern crunk and infused with street sense. He's fairly open about his past, juxtaposing this earnest quality with his sometimes reckless mentality. He first got a chance to show South Carolina his skills by impressing Underground Enfantry Muzik CEO Lil Reed. Yung Kuntri Mane started out as most emcees: hanging on the block free-styling, teetered between self-expression and popular form. He never really crossed over, remaining mostly a hood success. However Yung Kuntri Mane's story doesn't end here.

As a youth, Yung Kuntri Mane grew up in the well-known Ridgeway area of South Carolina, where he was exposed to the street life at an early age. As the son of a hustler, Yung Kuntri Mane missed out on a lot of his youth by becoming the man of the house at the age of ten due to his father not being there; however his mother, a single parent of 3, stood behind her son's dream of being a successful artist. These two often contrasting lifestyles presented a constant dilemma for Kuntri, he had to learn to adapt to the harshness of street culture and nuturing aspects of family life. Through all of this, his mother wouldn't allow him to give up on his music, and before long he was writing his own rhymes which would tip the scales of local hip-hop and produce many unexpected fans.

It didn't take long before Kuntri Mane put the streets behind him and funneled his efforts into the rap game. He learned to hustle his music. He's a working CEO/Artist of UnderGround Enfantry Muzik. He has also been featured on several projects including collaborations with local and regional artists and producers such as Timmy "Finggaz", OG Remy Redd, OG 3rd Degree, Lil Reed, Code ReDD, Flavjavu and many many more.

Look for Yung Kuntri Mane this summer with his debut album "Carolina Bound" Also look for him in his debut film "HustleVille". So expect to see great things this summer from Yung Kuntri Mane.

Thug Passion

Life is based on class! Upper class , middle class , and lower class. Thats how we are divided as people. We all went in one of those different direction without formatting our thoughts in a manner which are based on facts, but what you read or observe to be the facts. You need to come from the struggle before you try and talk to the youth about the struggle. So here it is Im gone break it down for you since your crying out for help for someone to tell you what you need to do. Now those young kids your talking about need people like me and others who come from the same way of life they were dealt. Its going take us men that have learned from our mistakes to tell them how it really is in this way of life, I dont speak against education that should be number one. But our way of life isnt no cake walk ether. Everyday you able to wake up and see the sunshine is a blessing. The youth need motivation and guidance, from their own, not from someone who think they know. We are separated as a whole because the system made it that way. We are all victims in a society that doesnt real give us a chance to make up for our mistakes or make a better life for ourselves. We are like there puppets and they are pulling the stings the say who will rise and they say who will fall. Thats why there are so many men that make mistakes have the plan to do right but they cant get a job that will pay the bills so they turn the streets for easy money. We all have to crawl before we walk, but what if you have already crawled? What do they want you to do go back to crawling when you want to stand up, and be a man in society. We can have many trades and skills, but still cant get a job making no more that six dollars an hour, but luckily that dont work for everyone. I was a product of my environment I sold drugs, smoked weed and gangbanged I did it all. But we as men want a lot of things in life that we cant have at that moment, so we take the fast route not knowing easy come easy go to get what we want. Im just here to let you know there is no short cuts thru life because you only get one chance. So regardless of what you want to do in life you have to be the best and work hard at it. If you want to be a hustler, then hustle hard, if you want to be a worker then work hard. Its all good but in life you have to do what you have to do its survival of the fittest. That do not mean dont get your education because that is just about the only key to making a better life for yourself. Its time to smarting up hardheads make a soft %#&@$!, but its all apart of growing up being young dumb and full of %#&@$! but still wet behind the ears. If you have a problem with the things they are doing sit them down and talk to them. The problem is you are not real and they recognize that so they really dont care about how you feel or what you think. Stop letting them do what they want and do something about it, be real with yourself and them. Not just because you say so. Admit your wrongs and faults in life to the kids and tell them where you went wrong. I dont want them to take the route of life I choose to take ending up a victim to the streets because once your in your in and theres no turning back. Theres only two ways out death or in that four wall box. So what Im trying to tell you is stop getting frustrated and stand up for what you believe in and help these kids, dont put them down for the beliefs but help guild them and show them the right way to understand this system and whats really going on. Just because one of them might not listen dont mean the next one wont, but dont act like you giving up on them because thats the easy way out. That is what they want you to do give up on the future. Dont act like you care, care for real this gone be the world your gone to leave to your kids and grandkids someday. So put your heart in it. Im not no child I done chose my road in life so dont tell me about education tell the kids, start caring about them. Get involved in there lives and see what you can do to accomplish this. Team up with other people and see what yall can work out as a team. Take some time out to just help the kids yourself. The public schools try to separate the streets from the preppies and the slow from the smart but they cant because they all mingle and interact with each other for numerous of reasons, so what the system need to do is meet this problem head on and pay those teachers more money and give them more of a foundation to work on instead of just the basics. Help them out more maybe they would have a better attitude about teaching the youth. Make it possible for more kids to make it to college and make it where they can make some real money coming out of high school maybe they would try a lot more knowing that they have a chance to be something. Inform them on what comes ahead if the kids dont make the right decisions then there will be no future. The whole school system needs to stop showing favortism and treat everyone the same, have better trained counselors for the students with behavioral problems in the schools, because of situations at home o they lives period. You know the system dont care about public schools, because public schools are for the minority. I remember going to boring classes and going to sleep and still passing classes, Its all about money they just use it to teach the basics cause thats all they can afford to do, because the system want it like that. The kids is just a check and a lot of the teachers look at it like that because they get paid if they show up or not. Stop being the system and pawn towards the next person period, put your own message out there and if the message is real then people will listen, because real recognize real. If the message is fake then whos gone listen, its all up to you. You have a voice use it. Long as you believe in yourself and what you are saying is coming from the heart with real life experiences to speak on, that the youth can relate with then you already have to power to make a change. But dont put the next man down because your along ways accomplishing what life is really about. Much love to every race, color, creed, or nationality because we are all in the same struggle its all about respect for one another. We are all in the same boat. Its just different strokes for different folks.

A Womans Worth

Now ah days I sit back and see how the women of today is treated. Women is Gods gift to the man so why do us as men treat our women like there worthless when in reality they are priceless. Everywhere I turn women are thinking they suppose to have breast implants, wear very little cloths and degrade themselves in order to feel like they are accepted into society . Ladies it shouldnt be all about those superficial things to make you more attractive your worth more than gold. So you need to treat yourself like that. Im not saying act stuck up, but you should carry yourself in a respectable manner. What you see on television is just entertainment those shouldnt be the women you look up to. The women you should admire are the successful women like Ann Cox Chambers, Barbara Cox Anthony(Owners of COX Cable), Estee Lauder(Lander Cosmetics), Leeanna Roman(President of Providence Pediatric Medical Daycare), Terry DAlessandro (Market CEO of Sovereign Bank), Dianah Neff (Chief Information Officer of the City of Philadelphia), Denise Eckerle (CEO of EHS Technologies), and Elva Bankins (Senior Vice President of Lee Hecht Harrison). Those are just a few of the women you should be admiring successful women not these girls you see in the videos. Where would they be in a few years? Only God knows. You should treat yourself with respect in order for men to respect you dont expect for a man to respect you if your carrying yourself like you a %#&@$! off the corner. Its time for us as people to make a change in society because babys is having babys, the STD rates are rising because of the image and influence we are giving the kids. So women you should set a higher standard for yourselves to lead the way for the young ladies that is coming up. Teach them right from wrong and how to be women and not just a play toy. Because believe or not the women have more influence on a childs life then you may realize. But also as men we should step up and do our part. Show the women how much they are worth. We should support them on there rise to being successful and not try to pull them down. Always remember without a woman there would be no you. So you should be all for the success of our women. Regardless of gender we are all as one in the struggle. Trying to make a come up from lower class to upper class. So men if you see a woman thats motivated enough to try and make $150,000 a year why not help push them up the ladder of success instead of holding them back. I know how hard it is for a woman with my mother being a single parent of three working two jobs just to get by. Thats not the life to live, because where is the time for the children. A child should have both parents involved in there lives not just one. We shouldnt leave it up to the women to raise the kids on there own. Then we wonder why a good successful woman with goals is hard to find, because when we have them we dont know how to take care of them. So men when you get that good woman thats trying to go somewhere help her get where shes trying to go dont drag her down to the bottom you will see in the end it will benefit you both in the end. Just get out there and be successful to. With that in mind ladies and gentlemen Im out God Bless.

THE CHILD IS FATHER TO THE MAN

What does it mean to grow up,

to put away our toys,

and to participate in the world as mature and responsible adults?

What elements of childhood do we carry with us forever?

The discoveries we make as children,

awakening to what the world is really like,

can be harsh or sweet,

shocking or gradual,

depending on the specific circumstances of our lives.

Yet in one way or another,

we are all deeply affected by our childhood awakenings.

LOVE

What Is Love?

Love Comes In Many Ways,

Sometimes Filled With Happy Days,

Or Have You Feeling Like Your In A Maze,

Filled With Joy And Filled With Pain,

Alot To Loose And Alot To Gain,

Have You Stressing Just The Same,

Make You Wonder Is It A Game,

With No Direction Who's The Blame,

Is You Or Is It Them,

Or Could It Be Love's Not A Gem.

Life

What is life? Life is sometimes taking for granted not realizing how good it is until its almost gone. Everyday it may seems like your going through the biggest struggle and your life isnt worth living. You never really know how hard you have it until you walk a mile in the next mans shoes. Life is all up to what you make it we sit here and point fingers at the next man but its not the next man we need to point fingers at. Take a look in the mirror thats who you need to point the fingers at. We are faced with many trials and tribulations in our journey of life. So its all up to how you make it and where you go with it. No one else can make decisions for you. Youre your own person so take responsibility for your own actions. People say God dont give us more than we can bare but sometimes its not God giving it to us it us giving it to ourselves. We put ourselves in situations that may have been avoided if we would have made the right decision, but us as men tend to take the easy route not knowing what we are going to be faced with in the journey ahead. Something I learned in my journey is the easy route is not always the best path to take. The right path may not be easy at the time being but later down the road you will see witness that it will hold the greatest reward of all. The easy path will only lead you to trouble and pain. Some people find there way back to the right path why others are still lost in the dark. Life is to short to get lost in your journey because you will loose at the game of life. Life is like monopoly you can ether pass go, go to jail or run out its all up to how you play the game. That is the way the system is designed to hold people down, and a lot of people dont see that. So its time for people to open there eyes and stop falling victim to the system. Because little do they know there just killing off there own kind to end up a slave. Us as people is priceless so why sale yourself for a little of nothing. Just for a little fun and glamour, which will be taking from you in the blink of an eye. Is it worth it some will say yes and some will say no but the ones that dont have there life no more would tell you nothing is worth it. So all I have to say is its time to stand up and win in this game of life. Im out peace...

Hoes

Dont be fooled by the things they say,

No telling whos in your bed today,

They lie, they cheat and many games they play,

Innocence is what they betray,

Got to watch out because they will stray,

You wonder why it had to go that way,

Now your skys is looking grey,

You tell them to go but you want them to stay,

All alone is how you lay,

On your knees to God you pray,

Hoping for a better day,

This is the price you have to pay..

Real Talk

We are all here for a reason on a particular path. You dont need a curriculum to know that you are part of the math. Cats think Im delirious, but Im so serious. Thats why I expose my soul to the globe, the world. Im trying to make it better for these little boys, and girls. Im not just another individual. My spirit is a part of this thats why I get spiritual. But I get my hymns from him. So it is he that is lyrical. Im not a miracle Im a heaven sent instrument. My rhythm`tic regiment navigate melodic notes to your soul, and your mental. Thats why Im instrumental. Vibrations is what Im in to. I cant stop thats why Im hot. Determination, dedication, motivation. Im talking to you of my many inspirations. What I say I cant let you or self down. If we where on the highest cliff with the highest riff. And you slipped and clinched on to your life in my grip. I would never ever let you down. And when these words are found Let it be known that Gods penmanship has been signed in a language called love. Thats why my breath is felt by the death, And why my words are heard, and defined to the ears of the blind. I too dream in color, and in rhyme. So I guess Im one of a kind in a full house. Cause when I open my heart, my soul, or my mouth A touch of God rains out.
