I am a good natured, down to earth, rambunctious woman with a great sense of humor. Encarta World English Dictionary defines rambunctious as unruly, noisy, very active, and hard to control, usually as a result of excitement or youthful energy. I prefer the synonyms: energetic, high-spirited and lively. These are all much more indicative of my personality. Although I do possess a childlike quality; trust me, I am far removed from childish I am 100% woman (Although, I will be the first to admit I can be a wild child. By that, I mean a wild child in the sense of spontaneous, bubbly, outgoing and friendly.) I am quick -witted, and clever but never cruel or mean- spirited. I always treat people the way I want to be treated. My perfect mate is intelligent, articulate, kind, considerate, and spiritual. But, not necessarily in that order. He is romantic and strong; yet, sensitive to my needs. Because I am passionate, I need a strong black man to compliment my personality not complete it. He is self-confident and self-assured and not at all threatened by my sense of independence. On a very superficial level, I am looking for a tall, dark and handsome gentleman (5'11" or more Sorry, the short and sweet need not apply.) However, that does not mean that I only care about my mate's obvious attributes. What lies beneath the surface in my mate's heart, soul and spirit are much more important to me. My perfect mate has the temperament of a saint. My perfect mate is the Black Man. I will not apologize or compromise. I love the way my sister, Angie Stone, breaks it down for all of us who already know and for those who are trying to understand in her song Brotha: "He is my King, He is my one.
