I sit for hours in the middle of my bed, thinking and wondering with a downcast head, why it is people hate me so, use and mistreat me, abuse me I don`t know. I give my heart, I give of my time. I listen, I care and try not to whine. Yet over and over I`m kicked and hurt. Left to wallow in the mud and the dirt. What is so wrong, what don`t I see? Why is it no one can seem to love me? Promises made, promises broke. Left out in the cold standing, no sign of hope. I`m an afterthought, just something to do. Someone to play with when it suits you. Taken for granted day after day. In secret I`m safely kept away.
Will you even notice when I`m gone?
Will there be a memory lingering on? Or will you be happy to see me go? I guess that is something I`ll never know.

Speak you not the truth when you say that you love me

I`m not blind. I can see just fine
And I see someone who knows not what he speaks
It`s amazing to me as I look in your eyes and you stare into mine and to me proclaim your love.
Honesty has escaped you. Know not what you do while you take me for granted?
So why do you purposely put me through pain? I guess it never occurred to you that I might have gotten tired of your insensitive games so you talk your talk and you do your do and in the meantime I`ll be doing things of my own so one day when you come home can you be sure that I`ll be there.

Advice for my sustahs
1. If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away. If he doesn`t want you, nothing can make him stay.
2. Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior.
3. Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache.
4. Stop trying to change yourselves for a relationship that`s not meant to be.
5. Slower is better.
6. Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy.
7. If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve then heck no you can`t "be friends." A friend wouldn`t mistreat a friend.
8. Don`t settle.
9. If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is.
10. Don`t stay because you think "it will get better." You`ll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better.
11. The only person you can control in a relationship is you.
12. Avoid men who`ve got a bunch of children by a bunch of different women. He didn`t marry them when he got them pregnant, why would he treat you any differently?
13. Always have your own set of friends separate from his.
14. Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you. If something bothers you, speak up.
15. Never let a man know everything. He will use it against you later.
16. You cannot change a man`s behaviors. Change comes from within.
