"Chaconia" (SHAH-CONE-KNEE-YAH) is the national flower of Trinidad which coincidentally blooms on every anniversary of the country's Independence Day (Aug 31, 1962). It represents the imperishability of life and the continuity of the nation. "Elle" pronounced "L" is the nickname given to me by my best friend, Rosalind. It is a very rare female name with several meanings: sun-ray; shining light; God's promise; God is my oath. The last book that I read was "the 5 love languages" by Dr. Gary Chapman. It talked about the 5 ways in which people give/receive love and at the end there is a test to help you determine your own love language (the way in which you prefer to be shown love). My primary "love languages" are: "words of affirmation" and "acts of service". "Capricorn" is my zodiac sign. Its meaning is practical and prudent, ambitious and disciplined, patient and careful, humorous and reserved. My birthstone is the "garnet" which also happens to be my favorite color!
