"I Keep"- Jill Scott "Some of them wanna break you down, steal your crown Use and abuse you. Some of them smile in your face, cause they heard it some place, You got more then their used to Some of them want to steal your love, ooh Cuz they`re jealous of ...how you`re living and giving. I keep Moving forward, pressing onward, striving further I keep Keep on laughing, keep on living, keep on loving yeah I keep Keep on dreaming keep on achieving, keep on believing I keep I keep smiling when I come thru ...and I cry when I need too. Some of them, oh they stab you in your back, cuz it`s love they lack. Some of them won`t even try ...to see the good inside. But I .... I keep Moving forward, pressing onward, striving further I keep Keep on laughing, keep on living, keep on loving yeah I keep Keep on dreaming keep on achieving, keep on believing." It`s been my experience that when I decided to rise above the negativity in my life, the crowd started thinning the higher I got. So, in a sense, the loss of the people in my life was of my own choosing. I didn`t realize that when I started elevating my consciousness. The loss of some people hurt. But, now that I can see clearly, I`m not trippin`. There may be fewer people, but they are on my level... and that`s ALWAYS nicer. And, if it came down to it, I`d be pretty comfortable flying solo; I know I`m never REALLY alone... and I only want qualified people on my team anyway. (I`m in this to win.) They say "like attracts like" so if you got your mind right (and I am VERY discerning) holla` at me. I am very family oriented. I`m southern, so I like to cook and eat. I do partake of the ( for all of those that like to put somethin` in the air) lol I rep East Texas, & Houston. I am a woman of virtue. I love to laugh, sing, dance, learn and make money. I love music and movies. Hell...I guess you can say I like to be entertained. I read daily. Knowledge is a necessity. I am a fashionista! I love to shop, and rock the FLYest. I can stop traffic, and have on many occassions. ( brushin` my shoulder and poppin` my collar.) :) I am that I Am. Bless the Most High. Each time we fail to resist our REACTIVE behavior, we have to correct it at some point in the future. This concept of correction is called "Tikun". Overcome your own reactive nature and the heavens will respond. When we conquer our egos and stop all reactions, we become PROACTIVE BEINGS. At that transformation, success andjoy are now "earned" unconditionally. This is how the "game" of life operates. " At the level of ego, we struggle to solve our problems. Spirit sees that STRUGGLE IS THE PROBLEM. " " Immortality can be lived in the midst of mortality. " PLEASE TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION: Everything that I`ve mentioned are tools of thinking for this project called life. I tried to keep it simple, but I can break it down further or get deeper if you wanna` go there. EVERYONE MUST DO THEIR OWN INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION OF TRUTH. ( When you seek, begin in your heart. THE CAVE OF THE HEART IS THE HOME OF TRUTH.) But, ALWAYS REMEMBER: 1.) Begin your journey with GOD. 2.) Choose your travel companions wisely. 3.) Place HIGH VALUE on WISDOM. 4.) Leave your baggage behind. 5.) OWN your faults and weaknesses. 6.) Embrace problems as gifts. 7.) Take life as it comes. 8.) LOVE God and YOURSELF with ALL YOU ARE, and without judgement.
