It is a butterfly - a monarch, I have been led to believe With colors of orange gleaming as their flaps are received; Beautiful in its own way, any collector would agree But somewhat imprisoned, held to a certain degree. Another spark flies, yellow is its radiant hue As a monarch is accompanied, becoming two; They flitter around, freed from calloused cocoons Expanding the walls of their cell, like a balloon. More and more appear, as the numbers ne`er cease to grow Until the casing that they occupy begins to stretch and finally bow; Yet, the reproduction rate doesn`t start its decline - Every second the product is multiplied by nine. Although the container that stores them is ready to burst A strange emotion - true love- steadily starts to be dispersed; Each little butterfly`s wings shaped like little love-tokens Unite together to reinforce the bond that cannot be broken.
