Singer-Songwriter, Dancer, Actress and Humanitarian Talia Coles is the latest find from Warner Music Group A/R Maven and Kevin Liles protegee, JoJo Brim, and the first artist released under her own new Music Based Content Company "Couture Music"

"Talia Coles aka "The Doll" was born and raised in Harlem, USA. The product of a diverse background (a Puerto Rican mother and African American father), Talia's music is as eclectic as her upbringing. "Music has always been my first love," declares Talia. "I was inspired by the many musicians and singers in my family. My father played with James Brown and toured with Wilson Pickett so I grew up around music my whole life." Her extraordinary talent paved the way for her acceptance into the famed LaGuardia High School of Music and The Performing Arts in NYC. It was here that Talia refined her skills as a dancer, singer and actress.

Talia graduated with a Music History/Vocal Diploma. Always looking to sharpen her skills, she then began attending Broadway Dance Theatre for ballet and jazz adding a refined touch to her hip hop skills. A gifted writer, Talia has lent her talent to such producers and artists as LL Cool J, Musiq Soulchild, Teddy Riley, Slim from 112, Tyler Perry, Deborah Cox, Case, Coko, Irv Gotti and Polish Superstar Tatiana Okpuknik, "I'm great at picking up an artists energy and channeling it. When I write I like to become the artist. It helps me to keep them in their zone," says Talia. Brim echoes that sentiment. "I've never worked with any artist that could literally pick up the vibe of another artist so quickly. Talia can jump right in after just spending a little bit of time with them. I believe that her ability to adapt is going to make her a special and sought after writer."

Just like her love for the arts, Talia's love for community holds a special place in her heart. Through the "What Better Looks Like" foundation Ms. Coles creates PSA's designed to give examples and raise dialogue around making better choices in our lives. Talia is also a member of the Peace Alliance and is actively supporting the formation of a government level Department of Peace.
