Hello out there! I have been on this site almost two years and I am still getting folks outside of the United States asking me to marry them. I hate repeating myself, but this bears repeating. IF YOU RESIDE OUTSIDE OF THE 50 CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES OR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, I AM NOT MARRYING YOU! You need to find someone closer to home. I do not believe in online relationships over great distances where we cannot visit one another regularly. I am grateful to the real men can appreciate who I am, but I would like to clarify some things. - Before you ask, no, I don't cook for men just for the sake of cooking. Maybe your mother did that for you, but I am not your mother. - If you want men and women to have traditional roles, you need to look elsewhere. - Before asking me what I can cook, ask yourself what are you bringing to the table. Money is nice, but can you be emotionally available? Sex is great, too, but it is not the end all and be all of any relationship. Can you carry on a conversation? - If you want a booty call move on. Why would I want a new set of genitalia when I can be with a set I already know. - To my brothas - you must be able to dance whether Latin or otherwise. Rhythm is a must. - Please be open to trying ethnic foods, particularly Latin food like arroz con pollo con gandules, ropa vieja, platanos, frijoles negros y lechon. No, I'm not talking about squirrel, bear paw, fried grasshopper and frozen monkey brains, just chicken, beef, pork, beans, rice cooked with Dominican/Cuban flair. - Have you considered dipping your chopsticks into Thai, Vietnamese, Mongolian cuisines? What about Mediterranean and African cuisines? Be willing to think outside the box and realize there is more to eat in this life than southern foods. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE southern food, but that is a smidgen of what is out there for us to try. If you are genuinely interested, you will take the time to find out more. Me intiendes?
