personal message

Let me talk to you for a minute BP. As you have probably guessed, I'm a DJ. I'm on here to help promote my business and possibly make some new friends in the process. I have been in this business for a long time, and I have performed successfully at a number of events. But I have to ask a question. What is wrong with black folks!!??? Why would you spend thousands of dollars on food, limo, dresses, liquor, etc, but then you try to spend $50 on the music!!???? Seriously! I've seen it! Folks spend almost a thousand dollars on the Hummer limo just to go 5 blocks!! They invite all of Zone 3 in Atlanta and half of Decatur and Marietta to their wedding, then they want to spend $150 dollars on the DJ? Do you not know that the music MAKES the event!? If the DJ was WHACK, then that's what EVERYBODY is gonna remember. For example, you spent $125 to get your homeboy's cousin's uncle Tune to play at your gig. He brought his amps from 1987, his speaker that he pieced together (AND STILL PUTTING TOGETHER), his casio keyboard so he can sing a song between sets. He drank up all your liquor and spent most of his time socializing instead of getting the crowd moving. (I gotta go take care of some business, I'll get back to this in a minute)
