DP is a voting member of the Los Angeles chapter for NARAS (National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences), the countries largest and oldest chapter and a member of NARIP (National Association of Record Industry Professionals). Through DP's hard work, creativity and a strong sense of commitment, he has developed successful ventures in all areas of entertainment, from music management to music seminars and conferences.
"DP" has contributed to the following soundtracks : Stomp The Yard, Spider-Man 2, Spanglish, You Got Served, Hitch, The Partridge Family, Bad Boys, Bad Boys II, Christmas With The Kranks, Open Season, Mona Lisa Smile, XXX: State Of The Union, Lords Of Dogtown and many more.
"DP" has also worked with recording artist/songwriter prot g of Rodney Jerkins, Ken "K. Young" Pratt. He has written for Brandy-"What About Us", "When You Touch Me", "Anybody", "Afrodisiac", "Saddy", "Nothing", "Wow", "Apart" Toni Braxton-"Selfish", and "Whatchu Need" Omarion-"Feenin You" and wrote on the "You Got Served" Soundtrack Album and the "Honey" Soundtrack Album.
Currently, "DP" manages Grammy Award winning producers/artist's who's work has appeared on the following artist albums: Usher, Omarion, Bow Wow, Beyonce', Brandy, Chingy, Youngbloodz, Fabolous, Bobby Brown, Blu Cantrell, Glen Lewis, One Nation Crew, Ruben Studdard, Troops, Marques Houston, Audiovent, You Got Served: Soundtrack, Craig Mack, Isyss, O: Soundtrack, Pink, Faith, City High, KC and Jo Jo, Amerie, Carl Thomas, Big Boi, Toni Braxton and Outkast just to name a few. All reaching Billboard status with most peaking at the #1 position on the charts.
"DP" has received many industry awards from the RIAA for the artist/producers he has managed totaling over 40 million albums +. "DP" never runs out of ideas and it's one of the qualities that sets him apart and has sustained his career in an industry that is constantly changing. In 2007 he launched "How To Break Into The Music Industry", seminars which is an independent project focusing on educating up-and-coming artist focusing on artist performance and music education advocacy dedicated to supporting the importance of the music industry.
