The reason I joined Blackplanet was that I hoped to make a variety of new friends. I am a single mother of a 16 year old daughter. For the last 12 years I have been single, because I have devoted my life to raising my daughter on my own. Now she is two years away from going to college, and I think it is about time that I start living my life. By the way, the cute little girl in the photo is my niece.
