personal messageARE YOU SATISFIED? We all at some point in life have paused from our daily routine and questioned ourselves. Who am I? Why am I? Where do I want to go in life? What conclusions have I reached concerning life? In amazement we wonder how it is we have lived for so long and have not decided what it was we wish to obtain in life. Bumping around aimlessly, totally caught up in the daily grind until we realize that we are not satisfied. When we finally pause and begin to wonder, we ask ourselves; is this it? In disappointment we realize that the direction in which we are heading is not necessarily leading toward the life that we had envisioned as a child. Remember? The fantasies, the daydreams. We fantasized about houses and cars, husbands and wives, maids and motherhood. We fantasized in vivid color! Many of us have obtained some of those things which we fantasized about only to find that we've outgrown our childhood fantasies. Although some of the daydreams have materialized somehow it did not 'complete' us. We begin an assessment of our situations, surroundings and ourselves. We do not find the answers instantly because we've strayed so far away from the innocense of childhood. Finally we realize that we must take a serious look within. We must dismantle who it is that we've become and somehow rediscover who it is we are. And so the search begins, and many questions come. Uncertain what it is we'll find, the mind begins to battle. Once again in a childlike manner we wonder where will this search inside lead, because it seems so dark. It appears to be a maze within mountains as we recall the many 'ups' and 'downs' throughout life. Perhaps it appears as a wall in the wilderness where we've seemingly stumbled and can't figure out which way we should go. How does one find his way out without first assessing his whereabouts? Certainly after much thought there will be a degree of clarity, but, afterwards will come even more questions. Almost frightening, no telling what one might find deep within. Uncertain just how far off course have we stumbled away from the 'happiness' and 'peace' that we fantasized about. In shock and confusion we acknowledge that the dreams realized did not manifest the 'happiness' that we imagined it would. The battle continues and there's no telling what one might discover about oneself... but, the probe must begin. We've only one chance at this 'life' thing. In order to 'do it right' we must search the heart and mind. Surely, I must search because I find myself still unsatisfied within. Have you arrived at your destination of peace and happiness? If not then you too must 'dismantle' yourself. We all must stop wasting life! We must stop the aimless wandering into emptiness! Let the probe begin! favorite pages2 truths and a lieTwo of these are true about me. No joke. Which one's the lie? Take a guess...

Imagine if Jesus wasn't obedient, if He wasn't loving, if He wasn't willing. Imagine if Jesus was inconsiderate, if He was intolerant, if He was self-serving, if He was self-centered. Imagine if Jesus wasn't available to the sick, didn't pray for the sheep, was too good to socialize, if He thought He knew all that there was to know independent of God. Imagine if Jesus was in a clique and would never stray outside of His circle of friends, if He... (continue reading) LOST IN THE PEWPosted
† Have you ever driven around and realized that you’ve already passed a landmark once before… It is then that you realize that you have made a wrong turn… You face the fact that you are lost! Today there are many doing the same exact thing. They are going in circles and don’t have a clue that they are lost. This happens daily on our roadways; which is of no great concern because they soon stop and ask for directions. It is... (continue reading) INSIDE OUT HEALINGPosted
I had to learn that true healing only comes from God. Sure we make an attempt, but it is not complete. We call it 'FORGIVE and FORGET". It carries us for a while, but it does not carry us high enough to reach our potential in the Lord. We refrain from the evil thoughts. We stop wanting revenge and we stop wondering 'why', but it is not gone. We no longer keep the pain at the forefront of our minds, but we never forget. If it was painful enough, it cannot be forgotten. That deep seated... (continue reading) personal info
