Will the world be destroyed in the year 2012? The answer to this question is, HELL NO! All of this crap comes from such fools as Hal Lindsey, Gordon Scallion, Art Bell, Charles Hapgood, Bauval, Flem-Ath and all the way to Edgar Cayce, Nostradamus and others. I call them all Doomsday Idiots. Now these two idiots, Patrick Geryl and Gino Ratinckx, that wrote the book, "The Orion Prophecy", don't even know that Venus is not a star, just how ignorant can they truly be? The truth of the matter is this, there are no predictions from Kemet nor Maya on the so-called destruction of the planet Earth in 2012. There is no global catastrophe looming over the entire human race. There is no geological evidence that the Earth will reverse its magnetic field in 2012. These guys are clueless about geology, astrophysics, solar physics and astronomy. They are truly clueless when it comes to Kemetic and Mesoamerican art, history and anthropology. Plus, all of their so-called mathematical calculations are nothing but nonsense. There are no facts at all to any of the crap these two fools are saying in their book and please do not get me started on Zacharia Sitchin and all his Nibiru/Planet X bull crap, because there is no comet, asteroid, meteor, nor planet that will collide with the Earth in 2012 and I feel so sorry for those who have incorporated this crap into their doctrine, I will not say any names, but you know who you are.
Most traditions from around the world speak of a worldwide flood which wiped out all civilizations on earth. This phenomenon is supposed to have occurred around the year 10,000 B.C.E. The dating of the flood is based on the archeological evidence surrounding the Great Sphinx, which is older than 12,000 years. The latest period when rainfall and other water sources would have been sufficient enough in Lower Egypt (Nile Delta) to cause the kind of water damage that is found on the Great Sphinx is 10,000 B.C.E. Atlantis was a very advanced civilization of our people that existed at about the 10th millennium B.C.E., prior to the flood, but they were destroyed do to the inability of our people to control the powerful forces of nature which they had been able to release. They were engulfed by the ocean as the result of an earthquake. There existed an imbalance between their spiritual maturity and their technological-mental advancement. There had been many floods which had devastated the earth and changed its appearance and that the greatest one had totally devastated Atlantis. Our ancestors in Atlantis were said to be capable of levitating large stones, weighing many tons, with the use of their mental powers, the same kind of power necessary to create the Great Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. Therefore many ages have seen various high cultures. The decline of all intellectual advanced civilizations are related to the loss of balance between intellectual-mental advancement and that of the spiritual-moral nature. Atlantis was larger than Libya and Asia Minor combined. Atlantis had conquered all the people of the Mediterranean except the Athenians. The Ancient Egyptian civilization emerged first out of the cataclysmic flood period and resurrected an advanced society and religious systems from the distant past which it then spread around the world in order to civilize it for the good of all humanity.
What is an astronomical alignment? It is when 3 or more astronomical bodies line up in space. The Earth, the Sun and the Milky Way Galaxy will align precisely on 12-21-2012 at 11:11pm. This will be the maximum in the magnetic activity cycle. Yes there will be some changes in the gravitational forces from the Milky Way Galaxy Core and there will be some changes in the solar magnetic activity or sun spot cycle and yes there will be some changes to the magnetic field of the Earth, but none of this will cause any mass destruction of the planet Earth. The most we will feel is a change in the nature of consciousness, I call this Cosmic Shifting- which is nothing more than a spiritual gravitational effect. December 25, allegorically speaks to the birth of this transformation process within the mind and body of man. The birth day of the Sun-God was celebrated 4,000 years ago in the Egyptian temple of Abydos on the 25th of December. From December 21st (the winter solstice) to December 24, the length of the days is approximately the same. On December 25th, the Sun is symbolically born as sunlight increases approximately one minute per day. At the midnight hour during the first minute of December 25, the birth of the sun (new sun) was seen in the astrological sign of Capricorn, which was known as the Stable of Augeus. Shining brightly on the meridian was Sirius, the Star from the East, while rising in the east was Virgo, the Virgin, with the horizon line passing through her center. At the winter solstice, the sun is at its southern most position in the celestial sphere, so this means that the winter solstice is the point of when the sun is at its greatest declination south of the equator. After that date, it begins to travel northward along the ecliptic. The winter solstice marks the shortest day of the year and heralds the beginning of winter. Solstice is a word that means “Sun Is Still”, this implies an increase in the amount of light and power from the sun (solar energy).
December 25th is the first day of increased daylight to follow the December 21st solstice. As descendents of Africans (Moors), we have a high concentration of melanin in our bodies. Melanin is influenced by the electro-magnetic field of the earth and it is influenced by light waves and sound vibrations. Because of its magnetic properties, people with higher concentrations of melanin in their bodies are more in tune with nature. In addition to the numerous physiological influences melanin has on the body, research also shows a definite relationship between melanin and spiritual awareness. On December 21, 2012, our pineal gland will be fully activated by the gravitational forces from the Milky Way Galaxy Core and by the solar magnetic activity or sun spot cycle and by the magnetic field of the Earth. These actions will cause our pineal gland to secrete a melanin derived chemical substance called melatonin throughout the entire brain, creating the chemical condition necessary for inner vision. This natural chemical is a mentally and morally stimulating hormone. On December 21, 2012, we will experience higher levels of spiritual awareness. The cobra on the headdress of the Great Sphinx and the serpent (uraeus/uraei) on the headdress of the Pharaoh represents the pineal gland which is also the 3rd eye (utchat) and it also represents the serpent power (Arat Sekhem).
The gravitational force associated with the Milky Way core, or with the Sun for that matter, are dramatically weaker on earthbound humans than the gravitational force from the Earth. So all of those non-Earth gravitational forces for all intents and purposes will not harm us; they're just too weak to affect us here in that way, but they will effect us in other ways. Nothing destructive happens during these alignments. This is consistent with the fact that we've had these Galactic alignments for every year in history and nothing destructive has ever been correlated with them. Everyone knows about the Earth's magnetic field. It's what allows compasses to point to the north pole, birds to navigate, and it even plays a role in creating the Northern Lights. The Earth's magnetic field is caused by the rotation of the Earth's liquid metal core, and this field extends outward through the surface of the Earth creating a sort of magnetic envelope shielding the Earth. This magnetosphere, as it's called, helps the atmosphere deflect and block cosmic rays and other potentially harmful particles from getting to the Earth's surface. The field is a bit like a bar magnet's field with a north pole and a south pole. Interestingly enough, the magnetic pole doesn't always align with the geographic pole, so for instance, now, the north magnetic pole lies in northern Canada, not at the true geographic north pole. It wanders over time--it has wandered almost a thousand miles in the 20th century. Once in a very long time (like every few million years) the magnetic poles flip, so that the north magnetic pole points to the south geographic pole, and vice versa. Such an event is called magnetic reversal, but these reversals are a very slow process taking thousands of years, not the sort of thing that would occur in a day or a year.
If the Earth does undergo a long, slow magnetic reversal. It is very unlikely that we would be harmed by it directly. Sure our compasses wouldn't work for a while, but our magnetosphere would still be present, even if it were somewhat weaker than before. It would still be capable of blocking most damaging cosmic rays from reaching the surface. Like the Earth, the Sun has an active dynamo in its interior generating strong magnetic fields, but unlike the Earth, these fields are orders of magnitude more powerful and they erupt in a number of ways. One of these ways is sunspots, regions on the surface of the Sun where magnetic storms rest, keeping gas close to it cool and darker than the rest of the surface. Another result of the Sun's magnetic fields are coronal mass ejections, or CMEs, which occur when subsurface magnetic field lines are thrust outward into space and carry with them material from the hot solar interior. Lastly, there are solar flares; these occur when magnetic reconnection occurs on the surface and solar material is accelerated dramatically resulting in x-rays or other high-energy radiation spewing outward from the Sun. The sunspots are not a threat to us on the Earth, as they are a phenomenon local to the surface of the Sun, but flares and CMEs can potentially be a problem for objects in orbit around the Earth. Our magnetosphere, the magnetic field surrounding the Earth, protects us from out flowing solar material contained in CMEs, and our atmosphere protects us from the x-rays in a solar flare. However, objects in orbit, like satellites and astronauts, aren't as well protected by our atmosphere or magnetosphere so they are potentially at risk.
Solar magnetic activity is known to oscillate with an 11-year period, although it is still not fully understood why. Right now we're in the minimum part of that oscillation, which means that 2012 will be closer to maximum in this magnetic activity cycle. The Doomsday Idiots believe that this maximum will be the biggest maximum in history, but really, there is no scientific evidence backing up this claim. Even if it were true that there were loads of solar magnetic activity on its way in 2012, the most it would mean is that we might lose a few satellites and we'd have to ground some astronauts, certainly not a mass extinction event or a doomsday possibility.
Most of these Doomsday Idiots believe that a comet, or an object named Nibiru or "Planet X" has been sitting in the outer regions of the solar system and will enter into the inner solar system on December 21st 2012 causing mayhem and destruction. Depending on who is telling the story, the object may directly collide with Earth, or it may just pass close enough to mess up our orbit, but either way the result is suppose to be the same: environmental and social crisis. There are so many groups that have incorporated this nonsense into their doctrine, I will not say any names, but you know who you are. The supposed evidence is that historically people have noticed perturbations in the orbit of Neptune that suggest there may be a massive body, like another planet, undiscovered in the outer solar system. People have been looking for it since the 19th century. Different proponents have claimed to have seen evidence for it at 30 AU, 50 AU or 200 AU from the Sun, where AU is an astronomical unit, the distance from the Earth to the Sun. These Doomsday Idiots seem to forget that space is really vast. The probability of discovering an Earth-impacting object with only 10 years of lead time is 1 in 10,000 and this probability goes down with less lead time, so the probability that a rock is going to hit the Earth in 2012 that we've not yet discovered is around 1 in 100,000 or even lower. Even if there were an object at 50 AU that was in gravitational free fall coming directly at us here on Earth, just do the math and you would see that it would take over 160 years to reach us, not the suggested 3.5 years left before December 21, 2012. Over that kind of time span, there is a lot we can do to divert its path before impact. In fact, the only object in space that we need to worry about is the Apophis Asteroid, not no fairytale Nibiru.
The Apophis (Apep) Asteroid caused a lot of concern in December 2004. There was a probability up to 2.7 percent, that the asteroid would hit the Earth in 2029. This possibility was later eliminated, but the possibility remains that the asteroid would pass through a gravitational keyhole, which is a precise region in space no more than about 600 meters across, that would set up a future impact on April 13, 2036. The asteroid was at a Level 1 on the Torino impact hazard scale until August 2006. It also broke the record for the highest level on the Torino Scale and it was a level 4, before it was lowered. The trajectory of the asteroid shows the keyhole would likely be missed and on August 5, 2006, the asteroid was lowered to a Level 0 on the Torino Scale. As of October 7, 2009, the impact probability for April 13, 2036, is calculated as 1 in 250,000. An additional impact date in 2037 was also identified; the impact probability for that encounter was calculated as 1 in 12.3 million. The Apophis asteroid is 350 metres or meters (1,100 ft).
The Maya recorded time mainly using 3 interconnected calendars: the Tzolk'in (260 day count), the Haab (365 day count), and the Long Count. Most Maya dates were expressed as a combination of the Tzolk'in and Haab. This combination is called a Calendar Round. The Tzolk'in consists of the numbers 1 - 13 alternating against a cycle of 20 day names, with their number-day combination restarting every 260 days (13 x 20 = 260). The iteration starts with the day 1 Imix and proceeds for 13 days to 13 B'en, then continues another 7 days counted from 1 Ix (day 14), 2 Men (day 15), 3 Kib'(day 16), etc, to 7 Ajaw — for a total of 20 days. Then the days will start over again with Imix, but continuing with the number sequence 8, or 8 Imix. The Haab cycle repeats a series of 18 months of 20 days each (0-19), with an additional month of 5 days at the end (18 x 20 + 5 = 365). The months cycle is very similar to Europeans, the month Pop begins and counts through 20 days, then goes on to the next month Wo. To keep track of linear time, the Maya created a positional notation system known as the Long Count. This is a number, used similarly to the European numerical "year 2008," counting "years" and days since the last Creation in 3114 BC. (The "years" here counted, called Haabs, are only 360 days long.) Each 'digit' of the Long Count is twenty times the next one, just as each digit of 2 0 0 8 is ten times the value of the following. Europeans call their system, based on 10's, decimal notation; while the Maya system is vigesimal, based on 20's. The Long Count system counts in increments of twenty which provide the quantity of the b'aktun (400 years), k'atun (20 years), tun (360 days), winal (months), and k'in (days).

The Maya long count calendar does not end on December 21, 2012, it simply cycles to the calendar's start date and the Maya never prophesied that any disasters would befall humans or the Earth on this date. The Maya were a very advanced civilization, they were good mathematicians and astronomers, as good as the Egyptians, which means they were good at keeping track of time. In fact, they had several different calendars tied to different cycles, a lunar calendar, a solar calendar, a Venusian calendar, a ritual calendar, etc. Of course, these cycles are all relatively short, so they invented a "long count calendar" in order to keep track of longer periods of time. The long count calendar consisted of 5 different digits to keep track of the number of days since the beginning of time, so for instance, today is 12.19.16.5.4. It is a little weird for the westerners because the Maya used a base-20 numerical system instead of a base-10, but it is a very logical system. The beginning date of the Maya calendar was August 11th, 3114BC, even though this was long before the Mayan people were actually around. What is interesting about the date that marks the beginning of their long count calendar, is that they didn't label it as day 0.0.0.0.0, as the European expected; they labeled it 13.0.0.0.0, with day 0.0.0.0.1 following it. It would be a bit like the European calling the first day of their western calendar some arbitrary date like March 13th, 1978AD, and then having it followed by Jan 2nd, 1AD. December 21st, 2012 marks the first time that the Mayan calendar has returned to this original date of 13.0.0.0.0 since the beginning of their calendar system over 5000 years ago. It isn't that the calendar is ending, but it is just reaching the same date that it had it when it began. The ancient Maya themselves never foretold any prophecies about the destruction of the world on this date. According to many Mayan scholars, they may have celebrated it, but they certainly didn't view it as some sinister date to be feared. In fact, there are stone carvings that predict there will still be people celebrating the coronation of king Pakal in the year 4772 AD, long after 2012 has come and gone.
After studying the heavens, the astronomers of Kemet (Egypt) developed stellar, lunar and solar calendars as a means of regulating agriculture, religious and civic activities. They also predicted eclipses, plotted the movement of numerous stars, described the method for determining the phases of the moon and identified 5 planets. Mercury was Sebku, Venus was Bennu-Ausar, Mars was Heru-Khuti, Saturn was Heru-Ka-Per and Jupiter was Heru-Ap-Sheta-Taui. The effectiveness of any calendar is determined by its accurate timing of the cyclical appearance of a specific heavenly body. The moon was easy to identify because of the apparent changes in its shape. The lunar month was determined by the interval between successive full moons, which is a period of precisely 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes and 2.7 seconds. The word month is derived from the word mona, which means moon. This lunar calendar was useful, but it had shortcomings, because of its approximately 354 days which is about 11 days shorter than the true solar year and the lunar months is about 383 and ½ days, which is 18 and ½ days longer than the solar year. The daily apparent motion of the sun provided a more accurate unit of measurement. Eventually, the solar day and the changing seasons of the year gave rise to the development of a calendar based on the solar year. The solar year is defined as the time it takes the planet Earth to make one complete revolution around the sun, which is a period of exactly 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes and 46 seconds. The astronomers of Kemet were the first to develop a solar calendar which divided the year into 365 days, consisting of 12 months of 30 days each. Five additional days were added to the end of the year, which corresponded to the birth of the Neteru, Ausar, Auset, Heru, Set, and Nephthys, who are the progenitors of the human race (12 x 30 + 5 = 365 days). The astronomical knowledge that emerged from Kemet was responsible for giving the world the calendar year of 365 days, the division of a circle into 360 segments and the designation of the second, minute and hour as measurements of time. The word hour is derived from the word Horus (Heru), who was a Neter associated with the sun. The right eye of Heru represents the sun and the time of day is determined by the position of the Earth relative to Heru (the sun). Various timekeeping devices, such as the tekhen, clepsydra and shadow clock, were developed to record the passage of time. The year was subsequently divided into 3 seasons of 4 months duration, which were called the inundation, the cultivation and the harvest. Each 30-day month was divided into 3 weeks of 10 days and each day was then divided into 24 hours. Again, the word hour is derived from the name of the neter, Heru, who was associated with the sun. The hour of the day represents the position of the sun relative to the planet Earth at any given time of the day or night. This particular calendarial system was based upon the civil year of Kemet. Our ancestors realized that their civil calendar was imperfect because it lacked a quarter of a day each year relative to its sidereal orbit- the exact period in which the earth makes one complete revolution around the sun. To correct this error, a more precise sidereal calendar was introduced around 4236 B.C.E. This new calendar alleviated the necessity of adding one day every 4 years (leap year) by adding a new year every 1,460 years (4 x 365 = 1,460). Both the civil year calendar and the astronomical year calendar were used simultaneously and were in synchronization with one another every 1,460 years when the first day of each calendar coincided with the helical rising of the dog star, Sothis (Sirius), which also coincided with the inundation - the annual flooding of the Nile. The Sothic year is 365 days, 6 hours - introduced in ancient Egypt to correct the civil calendar year of 365 days. A Sothic cycle began when the civil and Sothic new year coincided.
The eyes of the Neteru were considered to have been the two symbols of light in the heavens, the sun and the moon. The right eye was called the eye of neter, Heru and symbolized the sun. The left eye was associated with the neter, Djhuiti and symbolized the moon. Arithmetic in the Nile Valley was based on dimidiation, halving rather than addition. The components that comprise the Eye of Djhuiti were given a numerical value and were used when writing the fractions one-half to one-sixty fourth. The symbols for various fractions of the eye was also called the hekat, which was also a unit of volume used when measuring grain. Thus, the hekat and Djhuiti both symbolized measurement. The relationship between the lunar eye, the moon and measurement is quite profound because the passage of time was noted by adding the various fractions of the moon (quarter moon, half moon, full moon, etc.) The astronomers of ancient Kemet knew that the moon reflected the light of the sun and that it became invisible (a new moon) when it was in conjunction with the sun and that it was fully visible directly opposite the sun.
Our ancestors identified groups of stars which were stretched across the sky and whose rising followed each other by a period of ten days. These stars were associated with various Neteru and called decans. The division of the Kemetic year into 36 weeks of ten days each meant that each week was ruled over by a specific decan or constellation. This is the process by which it was determined, thousands of years ago, that a circle would consist of 360 degrees (36 x 10 = 360). Our ancestors further divided the heavens into 12 divisions in the southern sky, 12 divisions in the northern sky and 12 divisions in the central sky. These 36 division were then divided among the 3 seasons and from that delineation emerged the regions for the 12 signs of the zodiac. Each sign was associated with a decan who was referred to as one of the watchers of the hours. They were regarded as messengers of the greater neteru of Heru himself, hence the origin of the word horoscope. The association of each zodiacal sign was purely symbolic and represented the relationship between the appearance of certain stars overhead and specific activity taking place on earth below. Our ancestors named the stars of the inundation or Aquarius, those stars under which the Nile began to overflow. Stars of the ox or bull (Taurus) are those under which they began to plow. Stars of the lion (Leo) are those under which that animal driven from the desert by thirst, appeared on the banks of the Nile. Stars of the sheaf or the harvest virgin (Virgo). Those of the reaping season are the stars of the lamb (Aries). The stars of the two kids (Gemini) are those under which these precious were brought forth. The stars of the crab are those where the sun, having arrived at the tropic, retreated by a slow retrograde motion like the crab or Cancer. The stars of the wild goat or Capricorn are those where the sun, having reached the highest point in its annuary tract imitates the goat, who delights to climb to the summit of the rocks. The stars of the balance or Libra are those where the days and nights being equal, seemed in equilibrium, like that instrument. The stars of Scorpion are those where certain periodical winds brings vapors, burning like venom of the scorpion. Astronomy, the calendar and astrology all played a major role in the development of myth, ritual and religion in the Nile Valley. It is important that you truly innerstand the relationship between astronomy and religious architecture. Many of the primary Neteru of the Nile Valley were associated with celestial bodies. A primary component of temple architecture was the precise alignment of these religious structures to either the sun or the moon; the four cardinal points, the summer solstice or winter solstice; the spring equinox or autumn equinox; or star systems (constellations). The purpose for this exact orientation was to align the temple to a heavenly body in such a manner so as to capture the light or spirit of that body inside the Holy of Holies, which was the most sacred shrine in every temple. Every pyramid and temple in the Nile Valley served some astronomic purpose.
The development of agriculture required the services of individuals who were capable of plotting the heavens and identifying the appearance or disappearance of certain stars which foretold the return of the annual floods, the rainy season and of the precise times to sow the various grains. These early astronomers were invaluable to their community. Their responsibilities were to study the heavens, to catalog and codify their findings and transmit the information to the appropriate officials. Over a period of many generations, the astronomers/priests became very well acquainted with the secrets of the universe. They discovered the movements of the stars and planets, the relationship between their phases and their influence on vegetation, human beings, animals and many of the various elements and minerals of the planet. As their knowledge grew new areas of specialized interest evolved, thus allowing man to better understand his relationship with the infinite power that is called GOD. The Great Pyramid is the most perfectly aligned building to true north. The alignment is only one-twelfth of a degree off true north because of the shifting of the Earth’s crust. In fact the basis of geography is the system of latitude and longitude to measure the size of our planet and to chart its surface with supreme accuracy is also incorporated into the exterior and exterior measurements of the Great Pyramid. The pyramid's perimeter (the sum of its base lengths) is 3,023 feet, which is precisely equal to 1 half minute of a degree of latitude at the equator, or 1:43,200 of the polar circumference of the Earth. Measurement of the pyramid's perimeter, including the outer most sockets upon which it rests (which incidentally are recessed 8 inches below the surface), yields a length of 3,043.8 feet which is precisely equal to 1 half minute of a degree of longitude at the equator, or 1:43,200 of the equatorial circumference of the Earth. The entire pyramid rests on a platform which is more than 755 feet in length, and level to within four fifths of an inch. The height of the pyramid plus the height of its base platform, 482.7571 feet, is equal to 1:43,200 of the polar radius of the Earth, or the distance from the center of the Earth to the North Pole. The formula 1:43,200 relates to the size and shape of the Earth. There are 360 degrees in a circle, 60 minutes in a degree and 2 half minutes in one minute (360x60x2=43,200). These 3 basic measurements of the pyramid, all on the same scale, represent the 3 essential Geodetic values of this planet. The pyramid's height relates to its perimeter as the radius of a circle does to its circumference. Dividing the perimeter of the pyramid's base twice its height yields 3.1428, which is a working approximation of pi. The area of the face of the Great pyramid is also the same as the square of its vertical height. The square of the vertical height is also the same as 1 half the pyramid's base width, times its slant height. This fact indicates that the pyramid's design is in accordance with phi (1.618), also called the Golden Number. The most precisely constructed passages in the Great Pyramid is the descending passage and the ascending passage. The descending passage to the northern skies at an angle of 26 degrees 17 minutes which subtracted from the pyramid's latitudinal angle of nearly 30 degrees provides a view within 3 degrees 43 minutes of the celestial pole: A perfect angle for watching the transit of circumpolar stars across the entrance opening the ascending passage angles off from the descending passage at 26 degrees 17 minutes and would be the precise angle for light reflection. The light from a transiting star shone on a pool of water or mirror at the juncture point of the descending passage, the light would be reflected up the ascending passage and observed in the grand galley. The dimensions of the so called kings chambers (34 feet and 4 inches in length times 17 feet and 2 inches in width times 19 feet and 1 inch in height) expresses 2 ratios of the Sacred Triangles (A2 + B2 =C2) and 3:4:5. Inside the chambers are 2 shafts which were cut 200 feet of solid masonry to the outer surface of the pyramid. The shafts face a northerly and southerly direction. One to the northern celestial pole and the other to the 3 stars of Orion's belt to the south. The shafts are symbolic guide ways for the soul, guiding it either towards the circumpolar in the northern sky or to the constellation of Orion in the southern sky. The north is final liberation and eternal life, south is reincarnation in a mortal body and the commencement of a new experience. The star Alpha Draconis is circled by the circumpolars that were called the indestructible, because they never disappeared below the horizon, and that they symbolized immortality (the north). The 36 stars, (constellations ) also known as the decans whose consecutive helical risings occurred every 10 days, hence the name decan witch means 10. Each decan rose above the horizon after a period of 70 days of invisibility. The 70 day mummification process is connected to this. The mystical intent is to open the mind, through mystical wisdom and disciplines, so as to render it uadjit (universal and infinite, all encompassing, unlimited) and beyond the fluctuations of egoism, i.e. moral consciousness. The opening of the mouth and eyes is a mystical teaching relating to expansion in expression (mouth) and awareness (open eyes). These factors (mouth and eyes) are the signs of the existence of consciousness or its absence. Also, we learn that the adze instrument (Ursa minor) is actually also the Eye of Heru, which is the greatest offering-eucharist of the Egyptian mysteries. The Eye symbolizes divine consciousness as it is one and the same with Heru, Ausar and Ra. Therefore, being touched with these instruments means attaining God (Divine)-consciousness.

Our magnetosphere and atmosphere protects us from most solar activity and the worst that might happen is a few satellites may be damaged, not humans on the ground. A comet, asteroid or anything else coming in from the outer solar system and striking the Earth on December 12, 2012 are very, very low, like 1 in a hundred thousand low.

Polaris is a binary star second magnitude and located at a distance of about 300 light-years from the earth. The Great Year is founded on the movement of the earth through the constellation known as the precession of the Equinoxes. Each Great Year has 25,860 to 25,920 years and 12 arcs or constellations. Each passage through a constellation takes 2,155 - 2,160 years. These are known as the Great Months of the Great Year. As explained earlier, the current cycle or year began at around 10,858 B.C.E. At about the year 36,766 B.C.E., the creator RA in person ruled the earth from his throne in Anu. By this reckoning our current year (2,004 A.C.E) is actually the year 12,862 G. Y. based on the Great Year System of Ancient Kemetic reckoning. The period of 36,525 years is also 25 times 1,460, which is a cycle of the helical rising of Sirius (when Sirius rises not only in the east but on the ecliptic, i.e. with the sun). The Sirian calendar was another time reckoning system based on the star Sirius and its relation with the sun of our solar system, which contains a cycle of 1,460 years. The rising of the Sirius occurred in 139 A.C.E. This means that the Sirian cycle also occurred in the years 1321 B.C.E., 2781 B.C.E., and 4241 B.C.E. By means of two inscriptions from the 18 Dynasty (1580 B.C.E.).
If we take the average number of years in the Great Year and add it to the known year of the beginning of the current Great Year we get the total of 36,748 (25,890 + 10,858 = 36,748). If we compare this number with the history of MernDjehuti, we find a difference of 18 years, accountable by the deterioration in the translated records and the variance in the number of years in the Great Year. So the Sirian calendar was used in Ancient Kemet at least as early as 4241 B.C.E., and the greater from of reckoning, the Great Year, corroborates the history of MernDjehuti, which takes ancient Kemet chronology and civilized use of mathematics, astronomy and time reckoning back to 36,748 B.C.E. The cycles appear to cover 35, 525 years, which would be the equivalent of 25 cycles of 1461 years. The apparent discrepancy of one year in this recording of cycles is due to the Sothic cycle of 1460 yeas being the equivalent of a civil cycle of 1461 years. There were three main cycles: one of 365 x 4 = 1460; another of 1460 x 25 = 36,500 and a third of 36,500 x 5 = 182,500years.
In the Great Year Calendar of Kemet it is clearly seen that our ancestors instituted the use of different symbolisms in religion and government in accordance with the current symbolism of the particular age in question. Thus during the age (great month) of Leo, the lion symbolism was used. What is compelling about this rationale is that the evidence in reference to the age of the Great Sphinx (Heru Em Akhet) coincides with the commencement of the New Great Year and the month of Leo, which began in 10,858 B.C.E. Heru Em Akhet or Heru in the Horizon or manifesting in the horizon, The Great Sphinx actually represents an ancient conjunction formed by the Great Sphinx in Giza, Kemet and the heavens. This conjunction signals the beginning of the New Great Year. This is a commemoration of the zodiacal symbol pertaining to the particular Great month in question. Our Ancestors in Kemet marked time by the Great Year. The 12 zodiacal signs for these constellations were named by the 2nd-century astronomer Ptolemy, as follows: Aries (ram), Taurus (bull), Gemini (twins), Cancer (crab), Leo (lion), Virgo (virgin), Libra (balance), Scorpio (scorpion), Sagittarius (archer), Capricorn (goat), Aquarius (water-bearer), and Pisces (fish). The Zodiac of Denderah The Zodiac of Denderah has nothing at all to do with some so-called doomsday prophecy. The original zodiac was located in the ceiling of an observatory in the Temple of Denderah. The inner circle of figures, which move counterclockwise like the stars, shows the astrological signs of the zodiac circling around the North Pole, which is symbolized by the jackal. The outer circle of figures represents the 36 decans, each one symbolizes the ten-day weeks of the Kemetic year.
