8/30/2010--> FOOD FOR THOUGHT: "Women are like apples on trees, the best ones are on the top of the tree. The men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and don't want to get hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't so good but easy. So, the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality they are amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top becuase they value quality."

7/13/10--> First date: My car door opened for me...a dozen beautiful white daisies...the restaurant door opened for me...my chair pulled out for me...waiting for me to sit before being seated...looking into my eyes while listening to me speak...telling me how smart and beautiful I am...and at the end of the evening, a gentle kiss on my HAND...now who says chivalry is dead? ;-) What a breath of fresh air he is...

7/9/10--> I have recently discovered that you REALLY shouldn't put all your eggs into one basket...no matter how bad you want to. You WILL be disenchanted. It's ok to have a few pretty baskets...and as a new friend told me, "see which basket hatches first". ;-) Keep your options open and don't feel bad about it. If it is for you, it will be yours. If it is meant to happen, it will. If it is meant to be, it will be..."Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed."

My Self-Summary:

Now what can I share with you guys about Michelle? Well, I am a very fun, loving person. I love to laugh and enjoy life. I feel like you only have one, so live it to your fullest! Tomorrow is not promised. I'm very outgoing. Love meeting new people...in any environment. Love music and LOVE to dance. I took a little modern, jazz, and hip hop back in the day, so it's in me. I hear music and I just gotta move...lol...I love all types of music. My favorite? R&B. Old School R&B. That's REAL music... ;-) My family is in the music biz so I grew up listening to it, so that's in me as well. I'm a mother and a natural born nurturer. I have 3 absolutely beautiful and gifted children who are my world. 1 boy, 2 girls. Ages, 15,13, and 10. I'm an honest, warm-hearted caring individual. I treat people the way I know I want to be treated. I'm extremely loyal. When you get me as a friend, you've got a friend for life. I'm an intelligent woman who loves to converse about anything under the sun. I do all kinds of things. For many years I was in the modeling and acting scene. Love and miss it. I was also a Preschool Teacher and Afterschool Counselor for three years. I miss that as well. A lot! I love working with children, but the pay wasn't cuttin it. Know what I mean? I am also a certified Multimedia Makeup Artist. Do that on the side when time permits. I'm not all religious, but I am a christian and I do believe in God. I believe with Him ALL things are possible. I "try" to make it to church every sunday. ;-) There is so much about me. There is so much in me. I know that I am destined for greatness. I know the day will come when I will make a significant difference. I can't wait for that day because I am still growing and discovering new and wonderful things about myself AND others around me. What I'm doing with my life:

I recently relocated back to central Fl from south FL to help with the family business. I manage 1 of 3 Assisted Living Facilities. What a rewarding job it is...and as I previously mentioned, I'm a full time single mommy...THE MOST rewarding job on the planet.

I'm really good at:

I haven't done much lately, but in my spare time, I like to sketch. I'm quite the artist...;-) I like to write poetry as well. Not all the time. I'm usually inspired to write when something happens that gets me all emotional. Good and bad. It's a release for me. I love music. I grew up listening to R&B and funk. It's in my blood...;-) Part of the reason I love to dance so much. I dance when I get the chance. THAT'S a release for me as well.

The first things people usually notice about me:

I would have to say at first glance, from what I've been told, people notice my eyes, my skin, and my smile...what I get the most compliments on...but being that there is definitely more to me than what you see, as they take a closer and deeper look, people notice my humble, friendly, and down to earth spirit...

My favorite books, movies, music, and food:

Books: The Bible, of course. I love romance novels, though I haven't read one in a very long time. I have no time. I used to go thru one every two days. I've read The Color Purple, Men are From Mars Woman are From Venus, The Enlightened Mind, and recently Act Like a Lady but Think Like a Man...good stuff! lol... I really need to read more tho!

Movies: I absolutely LOVE horror films. My favorites are The Exorcist,The Grudge, The Others, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and many more. Being that I love to laugh, I also love comedies. Romantic comedies. Suspense, thrillers...pretty much anything with a good plot and most importantly, good actors..

TV Shows: I admit that I'm a soap opera junkie. Blame it on my mother! I love Desperate Housewives, Greys Anatomy, That Seventies Show, Kings of Queens, BET, MTV, VH1...I admit, I also like reality shows..

Music: I can pretty much listen to anything as long as it has a good beat and I can move to it. These are my favorites: Carribean/Reggae, Dance, Hip-Hop/Rap, Jazz/Blues, Latin and R&B/Alternative.

Food: Being that I'm Jamaican, take a wild guess...lol...chinese...italia n...I'm not picky, as long as it's cooked and not slimy, like ochra...YUCK!

The six things I could never do without:

I spend a lot of time thinking about:

The future and how I can make it a bright and promising one...

On a typical Friday night I am:

Laying on my couch, in my snuggie, maybe with a friend...;-), watching a good movie, while sipping on Appleton and Coke and eating popcorn...
